After passing by Club Street, I was captivated by the old-school architecture and feel of the whole place, and decided to return today to do some outdoor sketching...
I've posted both the line drawings done on site, as well as the coloured version done in the airconditioned comfort of the nearest McDonald's...

I had a few of these white cardstock panels with borders left over from another project. I decided to do a few tree-like drawings so that I could eventually use them for a mini art journal.
- Tree image was inspired by a design found in the book "5000 Flower & Plant Motifs" by Graham Leslie McCallum.

(2018) Da Vinci in Red
A tribute to Leonardo da Vinci (Apr 15, 1452 - May 2, 1519) for his 566th birthday.
The composition comprises Head of a girl (1483), Vitruvian Man (1485), the Last Supper (1498), and Mona Lisa (1503), in the tone of a Portrait of a Man in Red (1512), allegedly his self portrait.

- Flower and leaves created with Sakura Pigma Micron pens.
- Floral image was inspired by a design found in the book "5000 Flower & Plant Motifs" by Graham Leslie McCallum.
- Panel measures 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"
