I love coloured pegs. They make the garden look lovely - mines are always strewn across the grass hehehe.
But in all honesty you can't beat a wooden peg : P

Yachi juntava as suas coisas na salinha de Noah, depois de uma noite quente e um sono tranquilo. Noah estava muito quieto e evasivo naquela manhã, evitando olhar nos olhos do namorado. Yachi logo percebeu algo estranho, mas não se importou...
Yachi: Vc não está se esquecendo de nada, Noah?
O garoto engole seco, agarrando-se ao travesseiro.
Yachi: Meu dinheiro, Noah. É hoje.
Noah: Eer... eu não recebi tudo ainda, Yachi... - e se atrapalha todo para tentar explicar - Assim, eles pegaram uma parte pra pagar direto à minha faculdade. Eles não gostaram de saber que eu estava perdendo os estudos e me deram só a parte que sobrou... É pra minha segurança eles disseram...
Yachi: Esse não foi o combinado Noah. Eu quero tudo.
Noah: Eu sei! Mas eu vou achar outro emprego aà eu pago o que está faltando mais outro mês! Enquanto isso, fica com o que eu recebà ontem, está no bolso da minha calça alÃ...
De repente Yachi muda a postura e o tom com Noah, ficando mais frio e incisivo. Nem de longe lembrava o Yachi carinhoso e atencioso da noite passada...
Yachi: Eu não fico com restos, Noah. Ou vc me paga TUDO ou acaba aqui. Eu não quero saber o que fizeram com vc nem como vc vai conseguir o meu dinheiro. Eu só quero que vc me pague. - ameaça Noah, sem piedade.
Noah: ...eu pensei que gostasse de mim... vc disse... - diz baixinho, vendo Yachi se afastar.
Yachi: Ninguém gosta de vc, Noah. Vc é criança, inseguro e não tem personalidade própria, só faz o que os outros mandam, como um robô. Nem vc gosta de sà próprio, pq eu iria me importar?! - e suspira, entediado - Quando vc tiver o meu dinheiro talvez eu volte a falar com vc. Adeus Noah.
E sai batendo a porta, deixando Noah estarrecido com suas palavras rudes e com a frieza que foram entonadas. A dor foi tão grande que Noah nem conseguia chorar. O garoto ficou alà parado, absorto em seus pensamentos, digerindo as palavras e repetindo para si mesmo como um mantra:
"Ninguém gosta de vc, Noah..."

Argonne National Laboratory physical chemist mixes a polyethylene glycol (PEG) coating for synthesized polymer nanospheres as polymer chemist examines a different PEG formulation.
The coated nanosphere can be injected into humans following exposure to chemical, biological, or radiological toxins. The nanospheres selectively pick up these toxins and they are drawn out through a magnetic filtration system outside the body. The technology shows promise for delivering therapeutic drugs to target cells and organs. It is designed to directly remove the toxic agents from the bloodstream quickly and efficiently. Some potential applications are: biological toxin exposure, radiological toxin exposure and radioprotection, internal hemorrhage, brain swelling, stroke therapy, cancer therapy and acute trauma leading to kidney failure. The technology uses components approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and a novel approach to magnetic filtration. This joint project by ANL, Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute and the University of Chicago hospitals.

Unexpectedly warming a peg near you is the delightful and wonderfully simplistic Matchbox 1962 Nissan Junior which doesn't seem to have quite gelled with UK buyers judging by how many I continue to be found left in the shin high baskets at ASDA. A shame really as MBX tried hard to out JDM Hot Wheels with something far more stock and sensible looking and for me personally thats exactly how I like my models to be. Chrome disc wheels, delicate front and rear detailing and a very workman-like grey paint colour add to its overall charm. One of many bought back in November 2017 when this case finally arrived here. Mint and boxed.

Why are U.S. elections held on Tuesdays? In 1845 the United States Congress decided that Monday was not suitable because people would have to travel to the polls in their buggies on Sunday, the Sabbath. And in a farming society, Wednesday wouldn't work because it was a market day. This is one of the many paradoxes of an internet society bound by quaint traditions - noting that many states now allow early, and even internet voting. Peg is one of the animated dogs from the Dog Pound in the Disney classic Lady and the Tramp (1955). Based on Ward Greene's 1945 Cosmopolitan magazine story 'Happy Dan, the Cynical Dog', the film was directed by Hamilton Luske, Clyde Geronimi, and Wilfred Jackson. Peg is named after and slightly resembles her voice actress, Peggy Lee.
In Lady and the Tramp (1955), Peg briefly appears at the beginning when Tramp rescues her and the bulldog Bull from the dogcatcher. Peg later appears in the film after Lady is captured by the dogcatcher and taken to the pound. When the other dogs start to pick on Lady, Peg, who has been captured yet again by the dogcatcher despite Tramp's rescue, steps in and tells them to stop. She easily comforts Lady, especially when one dog comments on her license.
Peg is a flirtatious stray female Pekingese with a Brooklyn accent and an eye on Tramp. In Lady and the Tramp (1955), she sings one song called 'He's a Tramp'. Her catchphrase is "What a dog". Later, Peg did cameos in several other Disney productions. In One Hundred and One Dalmatians, she is seen in the pet shop during the Twilight Bark scene. Peg makes another cameo in Oliver & Company. During the song 'Why Should I Worry?', Peg is seen on the streets listening to Dodger sing. She also has an owner in the film, implying that she was eventually adopted. Peg makes another cameo appearance as a guest in House of Mouse. She is voiced by Janelle Monáe in the live-action remake, Lady and the Tramp (Charlie Bean, 2019).
