Despite the new, live-in model shown here & the acquisition of a very good tutorial book, I continue trying to get my head around both Lightroom CC & PS CC. My head hurts........!!! :)
I'm sure it will all be worthwhile in due course but patience was [is] never one of my strong points!
Onwards and upwards........ :)
We are pleased to present a sneak peek of this new and soon-to-be-released font by TypeTogether founders, Veronika Burian and José Scaglione.
Developed for broad editorial use, Ebony is a type family that cleverly seeks a balance between the openness and legibility of humanist sans serifs and the striking and more regularised feel of grotesks. The letter shapes feature generous counters and open terminals, and they daringly grow in both color and width as the fonts get bolder. Ebony has nine weights plus matching italics.
Peek-a-Boo - The cats of Bowers Beach. Very aware of my presence and watching my every move. Can you find them both? See more at RandyRobertsPhotography.com
14/365. Also, my first FGR for The View Through.
Who knows if I'll be able to keep up with all these, but hey, it's for fun, right?
So this is pretty simple, and unedited, but I kinda like it. More to the point, I'm learning how to use my brand-new, incredibly awesome, Canon 50D! I love this thing. It's named Faramir (my soon-to-be-horribly-neglected Rebel XT is Asimov) and it's my new baby.
Shot from the kitchen through the doorway to my parents' room. I'm back to having to use self-timer, as my remote only works for Asimov. First acquisition will be a spare 50D battery, though.
Shot for the Nikon d40/x/60 Weekly Challenge: tiny.
This is Pepitu, our dwarf rabbit, playing peek-a-boo :-)
Inca Ruins at Machu Picchu
Often referred to as "The Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu is one of the most familiar symbols of the Inca Empire.
Machu Picchu was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, when it was described as "an absolute masterpiece of architecture and a unique testimony to the Inca civilization". Since it was not plundered by the Spanish when they conquered the Incas, it is especially important as a cultural site and is considered a sacred place. It is also known as one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World".

Peeking; The easy-act to know what are people doing at the other side. It is right when the mind want to know only what are they supposed to, see the truth, hear the truth, and keep it in heart.
Location: Somewhere in the way, Zawawi (officemate) peek out to know what am I doing
When one peeks through a snowshoe, one must take care not to poke ones eyes out with the toe spikes!

The hereios are playing peek-a-boo today!
Panorama of Curiosity images showing a ridge and a mountain peeking out from behind. I think this is part of a much larger set of images for a bigger panorama, but the color images haven't all been downloaded yet. (I have most of the Bayer encoded images but that will take a long time do colorizes...) Inverted grayscale variant.
