Some more cherry blossoms from last week during peak bloom at the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. They're a little soaked from the two days of rain. Just the sheer magnitude of blooms is an amazing sight to see. Have a great weekend everyone!
Every spring, nearly 1,700 Cherry Blossom trees lining Washington DC’s Tidal Basin burst into color in a beautiful display of floral fireworks. But the peak bloom period lasts only a few days

Peak Cherry Blossom Bloom at the Quad at the University of Washington in Seattle Washington..
"Peak Bloom" I was happy to go visit the cherry blossoms this morning in the quad at the UW. Had to arrive very early and still only got a couple of shots off before the masses arrived. I guess we all had the same idea. These old cherry trees are certaily beautiful! Happy Spring Everyone!
