This foundation has both vertical and horizontal cracks. That means that a two prong approach is necessary to stablize the foundation. First, there will be piers installed to stabilize the vertical movement also called sinking or settling. These anchors are in the middle of the installation process. The steel threaded rods that are sticking into the basement from the center of the wall anchor have been installed and will soon be tapered back. Your Wall Anchor System has interior plates and exterior plates with a steel threaded rod connecting the two. Note that now the wall is straightened and stabilized, the sheetrock can be repaired and the anchors are hidden from view!

This is the earth anchor part of the system that is buried into solid soil. A threaded steel rod connects it to the wall anchor on the interior. The Geo-Lock earth anchor is sized to perform in our type of soils and has a bearing surface of up to 480 square inches.
