Mumbai (Inde) - Les Dhobi-Wallahs travaillent dur.

Mumbai (India) - The hard-working Dhobi-Wallahs. Some may be present in this giant open-air laundry for more than 16 hours a day. As they are organized in a cooperative, they know why and especially for whom they work. The hours spent working are therefore not experienced as a chore.
The organization of work allows them to take days off. But during the service, they also take breaks between two rounds of laundry.

Smoke break
Prachuap-Khiri-Khan (Thailand) - This fisherman went down to the quay to smoke a cigarette. He remains close to the boat because he is consigned on board in case the captain assigns him a new chore. The trawler seems empty but it is not. The crew is resting on board while waiting for the tide and heading back to a fishing area.
This photo is one of the shots that I sometimes take without real conviction. Although technically acceptable, I could not find a balance that satisfied me. It has remained to this day in a hard drive in the file titled: Third Choice". Suffice to say that with this classification, for this photo the probabilities of being made public were close to zero. Flickr offers him his chance.

This lockdown got me busier than ever working from home, that I almost forgot the feeling of relaxation, what is like to just pause and forget the world :)

Henri Cartier-Bresson
In a blink of an eye, everything can change. So forgive often and love with all your heart. You may never have the chance again. A loving and forgiving nature is a strength that sets us above the average. We can learn this from the nature of our horses. They have been gifted to us as a gentle way of learning these life's lessons.
Now I too will stop and have a "Pause caffee" without fear of being repremended for not wearing a mask in public.
As far as I can tell this is the Broad-winged Hawk. Her/ his chest belly is a little different than others that I've seen, so I'm not a 100% on the I.D. but it doesn't seem to match any other birds. I don't think she/ he liked my presence very much.
For those who appreciate those fun little details- notice the left branch. :)
She is a mixed breed of Harzer Fuchs, Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, Mittelspitz, short-haired Belgian Shepherd
With this photo from Kew Gardens, I say goodbye for some time, because I go on vacation.
When I am back, I have a lot new photos, although I did not even show you all nice photos from London.
Have a good time, take a seat on the bench and see you soon.
It is a serious thing
just to be alive
on this fresh morning
in the broken world.
I beg of you,
do not walk by
without pausing
to attend to this
rather ridiculous performance.
It could mean something.
It could mean everything.
It could be what Rilke meant, when he wrote:
You must change your life.

This Eurasian kingfisher (alcedo atthis) had made two unsuccessful dives for fish and sat for some time on this branch before flying off. Photographed in Ban Khlong Sai, Krabi, Thailand.
