Today was supposed to have clear skies, so I planned a trip to the Yorkshire Wolds to capture big landscapes and skies. But as always the forecast changed to meh. So off to the woods I went.

Fairytale-like shingle design on roof of house. Carmel, CA. Converted to B&W in PP mostly to get rid of some green moss which distracted from the pattern.

Here is a first experiment in using Penrose tilings for an origami tessellation. Designed back in October 2017, I did not take any picture until today...
I should check whether it can be extended/generalized or not, before releasing its crease pattern.. stay tuned!
