“The patterns we perceive are determined by the stories we want to believe.” - John Vernon

The last few days have been cold enough to produce a show of frosty fringes along the river where we sometimes walk. This particular pattern really caught my eye. I haven't discovered the "story" it tells but I do love the pattern. Maybe sometimes it is just an appreciation of something rather than an interpretation.

All these objects are made of wood, and are patterns for sand-casting. The central piece is/are patterns for a slate-saw bed.

One of the buildings at Düsseldorf's Medienhafen attracts attention through its red patterned façade. On the back are trees and set with their green leaves an almost surreal effect.

This weeks theme for the FFF+ Snap Happy group of 'patterns in nature' was chosen by Cheryl.

This one of two collages I created for this weeks theme.

A little snowed under this week so apologies for the late upload and I will catch up on commenting tonight.

FFF+ Snap Happy is a group I created for the FFF+ for images that reflect positivity, happiness, joy and beauty only. This must also be reflected in any titles, captions and comments.

- No mention of Coronavirus and no references to it either

- No negativity

- No references to the plight of the world or the situation we all find ourselves currently in

It would be appreciated if anyone commenting could also respect the group rules.

porte plusieurs petites bandes noires.

Fascinating cloud patterns in the skies over Grand Mere Beach on Lake Michigan.

I took a walk with my camera, around the quieter back streets of our local town, at the beginning of this week. I saw several things, which generally go unnoticed, that I found interesting. These broken panes drew my eye, as each shattered pane had formed a different pattern.
