This is a close-up photo of the design pattern in a glass cover for the butter dish. I held it up to the light from the window.
Patterns of nature, you i see
Wildly floating in front of me
Fallen from the skies of blue
Drowning my fingers and my eyes too
Patterns of nature, you do fall
The deep water catches you all
In its arms , you are held tight
Through the day and the night
Floating under the stars and sun
As down the stones, you now run
Into the water. that creation did weep
Patterns of nature, your beauty is deep
Came out one morning last week to find these amazing (and huge) patterns on the roof of my car. Add in some reflected light from my neighbours red brick house - and you can get some pretty interesting effects!
This is a photo of sunlight refractions on the submerged sand patterns in the shallow estuary river that flows across the beach at Clam Harbour Beach.

My coffee roaster helped me with this week's theme. The side of their package has this nice little pattern printed on it

Well, I loved my grater pattern so much I thought I'd try one with different colours underneath. It reminds me of rainbow sherbet, lol!

Never to be the same again; shaped by wind and wave in that period between tides. A walk along the Northumberland coast left me travelling light, photographically, with only camera plus nifty-fifty. However, this “limitation” helped me work quickly making the most of the light and such a variety of compositional options.
