A summer afternoon walk with a camera.
When I need more content all I need to do is wander around my neighbourhood. If I lucky I end up with a them, If I'm really lucky I end up with a video. If I not so lucky I get a bunch of unrelated images, still not too bad.

Real world softness of a triplet lens with open aperture.
The light is the great equalizer whether gracing an opulent adobe or an abandoned, neglected structure...
There are lots of paths to follow in the Arboretum or you can just wander about across large expanses of lawns to visit individual gardens, such as the English Garden, the Italian Garden and the Japanese Garden.

This image was taken towards the end of November and depicts a path surrounded by woodland and mist.
I've visited this particular location many times before. During this exploration I had another attempt, helped by the mist and lighting conditions I was able to capture something that I hoped could be different.
After leaving it for just over a month I decided to edit this image. The idea in mind was to create a moody scene that used the lighting and the mist to enhance this. Basically I wanted to do something that I had not tried for this scene before. After scrolling down the pre-sets that I had both created and collected over the years, I came across one that would help become the base to realise the idea I had in mind. After some adjustments I was able to create what you see now.
I don't usually do moody landscapes but decide to give it a try.
This path so cold, so bare and colorless...
It leads to somewhere or
ends in nowhere maybe.
The silent whisper within me cries…
I need to go…I need to dare
I need to obey the ecstasy of courage
Yet, the Prudent voice of fear
Cold and pounding
Feeds the anxiety of this un-walked path
“I can feel the weight…”
…this seductive path to unknown
For the fools who dare to try!
Yet, it is my faith
to word the unwritten destiny.
It is my time
to ink the unwritten chapter.
OH, it is my selfish need…
to light the path less traveled
For I’m who I am
