This wooden pathway through the swamps of Skaneateles Conservation Area reminds me of some of the ancient roads through bogs in Europe - including the Corlea Trackway.

The Path
This is the photo I came to this place to take. The last time I was there it was very low cloud cover and you could see no trace of a mountain in the background.

Surprised to see the leaves are changing colour. It is the middle of July and this change normally happens in September. A sign of the high temperatures we have had in June and July.
It was a lovely autumn walk along the beaver pond at Schwabaucher's Landing in Grand Teton National Park. The mountains were in the clouds but there was so much more to see and enjoy!
