I like this rest stop because it has a woody path that goes way into the woods. I'm too chicken to go all the way to the end though, looks like a good place for a guy with a chainsaw to hang out. Also, the path circles up the hill to a lovely wooded picnic area.
It may seem like the path we follow is lined with more talented, more educated people, but if we continue moving forward we can get to our dreams. Blogged at: www.kateyeview.com/2010/09/power-of-persistence.html
There are many paths that lead through the forests of weaselhead natural area.
One of my favorite places to be.
*It should be noted that this is the path up to the small guest house all of these pictures are from. Come summer those arches are encased in bloomed plants and ivy.
I had the opportunity to visit a house on the Fundy Shore with friends to pick something up on Saturday.
The house is located just above Port George and has been featured in several major House and Garden magazines.
As Shannon said, "Is this heaven?" It turns out it was.
The owners lead a beautiful life building, creating, designing, gardening and living entirely in the moment of whatever inspiration strikes them. Their art-work is magnificent, spanning the entire property and encompassing not any one space but their entire plot of land.
It is a place I hope to return to and the three of us that visited felt very lucky to have been able to go.
The path is blocked in Kannelmäki, Helsinki. The nature is still waking up from the long winter sleep.
✿ Camina bella, camina grácil, camina esbelta, pero camina fuerte, siempre fuerte.
❀ Walk beautiful, walk graceful, walk slender, but walk strong, always strong.

A group of the University of Pittsburgh students walking home one evening in Palermo after a night of food and shopping.
I watched these guys start as strangers and grow together as best friends. It's amazing what one week can do.
In going with thanksgiving and all, I'm thinking about the things for which i'm thankful:
the best friends in the world (they get me)
the best sister in the world (i'd die without her)
a great family- both my own clan, and my expanded clan
my camera- i might die without that too
a job- even when it annoys me
a house with heat
food- any kind I want to buy
opportunities- that i'm lucky enough to get
beauty- which i see all around me on any given day
laughter- which has been in short supply for the last couple days, but is being restored
love- that's what restores laughter
music- that helps everything
flickr- shallow, but i've met the best people here who fall into a number of the above categories
the path in life is not always easy. it has ups and downs. it presents you with challenges and rewards. you might not know what is around the bend, but you have to follow it anyway. or be stuck. i sometimes wish I had chosen a different path... but then I'm reminded that the choices I've made so far have made me into the person I am. So I just have to keep walking and see what's around the bend this time... maybe it's the new 5DMarkIII ;)
lol!
happy turkey day. eat, drink and be merry
The Philosopher's Path (哲学の道) is a 2km stone path winding beside a canal through Higashiyama, connecting Ginkakuji to Nanzenji. It is named for influential Japanese philosopher Nishida Kitaro, who strolled through every morning on his walk to Kyoto University. Several small temples dot the area.
