just like a pond next to Vrbas river - a natural thermal bath of lukewarm water (not really steaming)
Finally got the patches I designed & ordered for the group! Colors turned out a little weird, but the stitch quality is fantastic!
This little calico is my Sunny's mom. She is a tiny, tiny cat - it's hard to believe she produced such a huge lumbering boy as my Sunny.
Tom and I have put a "hold" on Patches- we just clicked with her instantly. We have no idea what we are thinking, getting a new cat while we are in the process of bringing Grace home AND moving, but she can stay at the shelter until we are ready for her and so we'll bring her home sometime in July and see what Delilah thinks.
Yes, Delilah is truly the one who makes the decision. When we fostered the kittens last summer, she got VERY ill (kidney failure) from the stress of having the two kittens around, so we're very concerned.
Patches has actually nursed several litters of kittens that weren't her own- she's now been fixed, so she's dry, but she still lets the babies "nurse" for comfort, even though it hurts her. She's a funny girl, very social and vocal. A lot of volunteers don't "get" her because she'll march right up to you and demand attention.
