I met up with Vomit on Monday night and had a little wander and a chat, put up some pastes and traded a few stickers. Proper nice chap and considering it was still daylight an utterly fearless paster, especially considering he doesn't usually have a lookout.

The concept was to create an elbow to fingertip henna design but instead of the standard hindi, to create patterns taken from Egyptian art.
I used Riffat's lovely premixed henna paste: www.riffat.co.uk
A 16" square triple layer white cake filled with strawberries and cream with fondant cover and designs in fondant and gumpaste. Embellished with musical note cake inserts. Cake board measures 22" x 22" - covered in fondant and embossed with "Happy Birthday" imprint.
