Le panchine custodiscono migliaia di storie meravigliose, ricordi di mani che si cercano, promesse mai mantenute, baci improvvisi. Tutti ne abbiamo una sulla quale il cuore è ancora seduto.

The benches hold thousands of wonderful stories, memories of looking hands, never kept promises, sudden kisses. We all have one on which the heart is still sitting.

The power, ingenuity, and sheer beauty found in nature has always fascinated mankind. When we look at powerful ocean waves rolling in, we cannot help but feel small and powerless in comparison. Mighty trees in a vast forest inspire feelings of insignificance and awe. Animal mothers taking care of their young make us question the cruelty with which we sometimes treat one another. The truth is, nature can teach us many valuable lessons. It can also lead us to wonder, did this beautiful earth with all of its natural treasures come about by chance or was it created?

Autumn, also known as Fall in American English and Canadian English, is one of the four temperate seasons. Outside the tropics, autumn marks the transition from summer to winter, in September (Northern Hemisphere) or March (Southern Hemisphere). Autumn is the season when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably. Day length decreases and night length increases as the season progresses until the Winter Solstice in December (Northern Hemisphere) and June (Southern Hemisphere). One of its main features in temperate climates is the striking change in colour for the leaves of deciduous trees as they prepare to shed.

A bright flower in full splendor,
shines like a jewel in the sun's light.
Its brilliance is so bright that one hardly looks at it,
without being caught by its glow.
Her colors are so rich and so clear,
in a sea of green she seems to float.
Her fragrance, as sweet as a magic spell,
makes our heart tremble with joy.
The blossom, it opens wide,
and shows us its beauty, so delicate and fine.
It almost seems to whisper, "I am ready,
"I am ready to show myself to the world in all my splendor and purity."
A luminous flower in full splendor,
a gift of nature, so beautifully made.
It reminds us that beauty exists,
and that in everything that grows and blooms, life vibrates with life.

With Spring now upon us, these late winter conditions made for a beautiful final performance.

'You were born an original, don't die a copy'
I wanna listen, but I can't sit still
Just quiet and calm, but I guess I never will
I could go, but I won't
Too many rules to tie a man down
Don't know what to do, it just wears me out
I could break, but I won't
The stars on my arm remind me of you
Why did they have to? Why did they leave so soon?
I could cry, but I won't
Sometimes you're better off without me
Sometimes you're better off alone
I wanna run, but I can hardly breathe
My head is full with thoughts that I don't need
I wish I'd let them all go
So much to do, but I'm on my way
So many songs to sing, so many things to say
So many reasons to know
Sometimes you're better off without me
Sometimes you're better off alone
I want you to stay here with me
'Cause tomorrow maybe you'll be gone
Maybe you'll be gone

A few weeks ago the Bears wanted a small group photo. So I obliged them on the front porch. They usually need supervision when outside.
I redo park benches when I have time. I have not had a lot of time lately. Been working on some music.
Happy Teddy Bear Tueday
Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us. We need hours of aimless wandering or spates of time sitting on park benches, observing the mysterious world of ants and the canopy of treetops.
~ Maya Angelou
It doesn't quite look like this anymore, but that morning with the autumn light on the trees in the background warmed my heart. And there has to be a story about those flowers left on the bench....

Some autumn leaves still hanging in there for the start of winter in the beautiful Rosalind Park in Bendigo.
This one goes out to all of you who have lost a beloved person which has passed away.
Today has been another day where i wished you could be here - another day where i wished you could be here around us! I`m still not getting over it...but time will heal it! And one day we will see us on the other side!

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl
Year after year
Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears
Wish you were here

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us, only sky
Imagine all the people
Livin' for today
Ah
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Livin' life in peace
You
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

It`s been almost 5 months since you been gone and moved to the other side. You left such a voidness. Words can`t descibe how it feels like. Now that spring is there i walk those ways we used to be walk together. So i sit in the park where we both been so many times. This parkbench used to be ours and we took many times a rest on it - we laughed, discused and enjoyed the moments and the time we could spend together. Not anymore - R.I.P. :(

#Lookingclose...onFriday! #Damaged
Pretty nice theme for this week. We do have so much things that get broken sooner or later. Damage also happens in Nature.
Damage is any change in a thing, often a physical object, that degrades it away from its initial state. It can broadly be defined as "changes introduced into a system that adversely affect its current or future performance". Damage "does not necessarily imply total loss of system functionality, but rather that the system is no longer operating in its optimal manner". Damage to physical objects is "the progressive physical process by which they break", and includes mechanical stress that weakens a structure, even if this is not visible.

Returns that softly sighing lament"...

Been once more outdoors for some shooting. While i rested on an parkbench i created this scenery. The contrast between the bench and the flowers made them almost pop out.
Even Color does not exist, but is created in our brains. In order to see color we need light, an object and our eyes. Color arises in the presence of light. Whenever light falls on an object, some of the rays are reflected by the object and the remainder is absorbed. The part that is reflected, determines the color.
Our eyes cannot perceive the light that is absorbed by an object. An apple, for example, absorbs all colors, except green. Because the green is reflected and is captured by our eyes, we see the green color of the apple.
The most ideal light for seeing color is diffuse daylight, when the sun is more or less behind the clouds and it is slightly rainy. This produces the most truthful colors.
