Look straight through the image with both eyes straight ahead, similar to the technique used for Magic Eye images, focus on the image that appears in the center. The 500 pixel width size works best for most monitors.
Series Introduction: "Parallel Vintage"
In a world of relentless complexity, we often find ourselves turning to the past—not as it was, but as we wish it could have been. Nostalgia is the quiet rebellion of the soul, a longing for simplicity, for the tactile warmth of a time untouched by the frenetic pace of modernity. Yet what if the past we yearn for was never ours to begin with?
This series, "Parallel Vintage", explores that very idea. Through the lens of AI, we step into a realm where vintage is not a memory, but a reimagining—a delicate fusion of early 1900s charm and subtle retro-futurism. These images are not snapshots of history, but fragments of an alternate timeline: a world where sepia tones, hand-tinted hues, and the soft haze of old postcards meet the quiet wonder of what might have been. Here, the grain of film and the brushstroke of watercolor do not preserve the past; they invent it.
AI liberates longing. It does not recreate reality—it reveals the realities we never knew we missed.

Triumph’s first parallel twin designed by Val Page and primarily intended for sidecar work (the engine is offset to the right in the frame). Never a big seller, the 6/1 was dropped when Edward Turner took over in 1936 and was to be replaced by the 500cc Speed Twin.

In a man made environment parallel lines seem to be all round us . I think I could have kept snapping parallel lines all day long. It certainly opened my eyes to parallel lines!

I've been messing around trying to take pics in a dreamy style for utata ip105 and can't make up my mind which one to submit
I was intrigued by the saturation of the color on the walls, and by the very strong paralleling lines. I figured HDR was the best way to showcase that color.

Two video screens on which people are moving about—on one as “real” human beings; on the other as shadows. By touching—and feeling—one of these individuals, you can transport him/her simply, conveniently into the other world.

Venice Beach, California
Venice Beach includes the beach, the promenade that runs parallel to the beach ("Ocean Front Walk" or just "the boardwalk"), Muscle Beach, the handball courts, the paddle tennis courts, Skate Dancing plaza, the numerous beach volleyball courts, the bike trail and the businesses on Ocean Front Walk. The basketball courts in Venice are renowned across the country for their high level of streetball; numerous NBA players developed their games or recruited on these courts.
Along the southern portion of the beach, at the end of Washington Boulevard, is the Venice Fishing Pier. A 1,310-foot (400 m) concrete structure, it first opened in 1964, was closed in 1983 due to El Niño storm damage, and re-opened in the mid-1990s. On December 21, 2005, the pier again suffered damage when waves from an unusually large northern swell caused the part of the pier where the restrooms were located to fall into the ocean.
The pier remained closed until May 25, 2006, when it was re-opened after an engineering study concluded the pier was structurally sound.
The Venice Breakwater is an acclaimed local surf spot in Venice. It is located north of the Venice Pier and Lifeguard Headquarters, and south of the Santa Monica Pier. This spot is sheltered on the north by an artificial barrier, the breakwater, consisting of an extending sand bar, piping, and large rocks at its end.
As lines (so loves) oblique may well Themselves in every angle greet:
But ours so truly parallel, Though infinite, can never meet.
Therefore the love which us doth bind, But Fate so enviously debars, Is the conjunction of the mind, And opposition of the stars.

Rio de ladeiras
Civilizações encruzilhadas
Cada ribanceira é uma nação
À sua maneira
Com ladrão
Lavadeiras, honra, tradição
Fronteiras, munição pesada
São Sebastião crivado
Nublai minha visão
Na noite da grande
Fogueira desvairada
Quero ver a Mangueira
Derradeira estação
Quero ouvir sua batucada, ai, ai
Rio do lado sem beira
Cidadãos
Inteiramente loucos
Com carradas de razão
À sua maneira
De calção
Com bandeiras sem explicação
Carreiras de paixão danada
São Sebastião crivado
Nublai minha visão
Na noite da grande
Fogueira desvairada
Quero ver a Mangueira
Derradeira estação
Quero ouvir sua batucada
