With three ships already at dock, it was a tight squeeze while bringing her along side. It's probably the geek in me, but it's really a joy to watch. Once she was docked, I'm guessing there was about 100 feet between her and the other two ships.
The firemen for NNRY 93 & 81 help guide the locomotives under the smoke hoods of their engine house berths. The hoods help vent smoke out of the building when the engines are put away hot.
For the daily challenge of parallel, this is a formation of Canada's Snowbirds making parallel smoke trails over Comox, BC. This was my fourth visit to the airfield in the last few days to see the incredible training sessions. More Snowbird shots in my earlier posts.
La ville de Dunedin est historiquement intéressante. Créée dans les année 1850 par des Ecossais, elle se trouve tout au sud de la Nouvelle Zélande. C'est dans le musée du Chemin de fer situé à côté sa gare que j'ai trouvé cette sculpture en bois tout à fait intéressante.

Silhouetted Rock formations and a glistening seascape near the San Simeon, California Elephant Seal Rookery at sunset. The parallel nature and similar shape of the cliff and off-shore rock formations was the inspiration for the image title.
