The purpose of this machine is to inspire our staff to create interesting prototypes from acrylic, Delrin, or anything else we can easily cut in this 75W laser. The laser engraver can cut and etch a variety of materials with consistency and faster productivity. Because it works like a printer and doesn’t require any CAM tools to make tool paths, anybody with a drawing and a dream can use this tool!

The CNC router is a large, horizontal milling machine that can cut many types of materials, including plastics, Delrin and other non-ferrous materials. This particular machine handles a full sheet of 4’ x 8’ material and uses a 10-tool changer to pick the right cutter for the job. The primary use of this machine is to build our Parallax DIY solar panel products.
Premier Reticles displayed the new design of their 5-25x56mm Premier Heritage at SHOT Shot 2010 in Las Vegas. This new design has indicators on the parallax knob (to the left). The former design did not have this.

Parallax Distortion: the reflection of the moon in the water has another position in relation to the tree than the real moon in the sky.

I thought I had moved the camera so the lens would be lined up with the gap between the gate and the support post, but I "missed it by that much".
That is the attendant's shack at a Montgomery County waste collection site, and there was a chair occupied by a large stuffed bear sitting out front I was trying to capture an image of.

黑盒子一詞來自於二十世紀中期研發出的飛行紀錄器的俗稱，用以紀錄飛機航行中的各式物理數據以及飛航人員之間的對話，讓意外發生時，事後的非在場者能夠得到當時的遺留資訊。
這個計畫以黑盒子為名，顯示了當代社會中，由“專業技術” “理性的絕對正當性”所主導的各式各樣的執行過程，在其中我們都只能經驗被設定過的外殼以及操作界面，而這些不建議過度追問的介面中其實限制了許多使用上的可能。
而副標題，偏移(Parallax) ，原指攝影機觀景窗與實際所攝圖像之間的知覺差距，在這裡意指對於既有結果的蓄意脫逃與觀念落差，以幾何學上旅行飛機的軌跡偏移點作為出發, 開啟觀者對於作品偏移點的各自想像, 三位作者在本次展覽中各自建立對於常識(類比於運動操作者的企圖)的想像, 如何對既有的觀念運動過程做出扭轉以及突擊, 相對於傳統現代主義式的對於操作者的單向質疑, 我們更關心如何對既有現象進行突襲式的介入, 進行以天空為背景的華麗奇觀建構。
一場經典的乘機旅程包含了對旅行投射的期待與想像，同時也包含了對乘機過程想像過程『毫無意外』的匱乏。黑盒子計畫的首部曲以偏移為名，解構了關於物體運動的起點與終點，並在形態上以碎片遺骸解除了一個完美(機體)完成品的可辨符號，於是班機不再只是抵達終點的目的性工具(夾帶著大量資本介入的誘人外表)，還開啓了途中種種偏離軌跡的可能。
本計畫的目的，並不在於改變現實中的結構，而在於開展出表象之外的想像可能。藉此，我們得以假想出種種二元對立的各式場域。其中包含：空間性的/真空 (Spatial/ Void) , 或是意識上的清醒/ 失神(Awake/ Syncope) 等等。

I'm hoofing past Bottle & Cork at high speed, late for another showcase a few blocks away, when I hear Parallax Project pounding out the clear strains of "All the Young Dudes" inside. How can you walk past a good cover version of "All the Young Dudes"? If you're me, as it turns out, you can't. So I stay for the rest of the set.
In past years, partly as a revolt against the Cover Band USA bookings so popular in exurbia, bands at the Dewey Beach Music Conference stayed well clear of cover songs. This year the occasional well-chosen cover is back, and I say it's a good thing.

all bar the two shots of the wokka packet are at home in and around my backyard!
The Pantheon..
The columns on the left side were rebuilt by Urbanus VIII and Alexander VII. In the much richer decoration one can see the bee of Urbanus and the mountains with the star of Alexander. The Pantheon, initially built in 27 B.C. by the Consul Agrippa, son-in-law of the Emperor Augustus, was almost completely rebuilt in 123 A.D. by the Emperor Hadrian, who maintained the old inscription celebrating Agrippa. The Pantheon was one of several buildings erected by Agrippa and restored or rebuilt by Hadrian. A part of a large basilica dedicated to Neptune is visible on the street at the back of the Pantheon: the decoration made of dolphins and shells is a clear reference to the god. Ruins of nearby baths built by Agrippa are visible in Via dell'Arco della Ciambella.
