We took the skyride to the top of Paradise Point to find a note that Bill and Katie had left for us the week before.
The Paradise Point Bowls Club.
The Infinity Club is pleased to announce that the Paradise Point Bowls Club has been awarded our "Global Cooling Award" in recognition of the valuable contribution made in combating Global Warming. The most effective action that can be taken to combat Global Warming is to reflect sunlight back into space before it is converted into heat on Earth. This award is given because the building in this photo is mostly white and also has a highly reflective roof. This helps to cool the building and the planet by reflecting more sunlight and therefore generating less heat. This can still be improved upon even further by making some of the stonework around the building and especially the car parks and driveways white, or by providing shading from the sun with plants and trees or with white reflective shades.
Global Warming and Climate Change can be stopped completely, simply by:- 1. Painting or making everything white, with the exception of vegetation. 2. Re-planting all the trees that we have lost. 3. Increasing cloud cover by 12% to 18%.
If we stop excess heat being generated by the sun in the first place, then atmospheric carbon (greenhouse gas) is not a problem. The carbon dioxide (CO2), actually helps to cool the Earth through the process of photosynthesis. During the process of photosynthesis, solar energy is captured and stored by the plant. The solar energy that is stored by the plant, can then no longer heat the planet.

2 Namatjira St, is an example of how houses and cities contribute to heating the planet... A black roof, black garage door, dark paving, dark road, dark walls and windows... I wouldn't like to pay the air conditioning bill to keep this house cool... We need to STOP giving global warming a break... and paint everything white... or better still clad the houses with solar panels and generate your own electricity and hydrogen for cooking and fuel for the car!!! -

I took this at my '14 year anniversary' Drum Circle. Our San Diego Women's Drum Circle had a potluck and then we danced, drummed and sang around a bonfire down at Paradise Point on Mission Bay.
We lit lanterns and released them in memory of our sister Peggy who transitioned last year. They flew high above our circle and off into the night sky.

We cruised for 12 days aboard NCL Gem in December 2014. Our second stop was St. Thomas in the USVI.
Before returning to the ship, we rode the Skyway to the top of Paradise Point for the view.
