Macro Mondays - Paper Art
My latest little craft project for this weeks challenge !! Measures just 2.5 inches from the tip of his nose to the last curly spike !!
A macro portion of a watercolor painting on paper. Designed as a greeting card but is currently used as a piece of "refrigerator art." Watercolor on paper by pre-kindergarten child. Note: the black designs were already on the paper; the child provided the watercoloring.

The #macromondays theme for 8/16 is #paperart and I think the original post-its are genius in their invention and practical usage. This is probably not going to be my posting bc I didn’t do something creative with the stack but it’s blue and that makes it BLUEtiful

Macro Mondays Theme is "Paper Art"
Drawings from December 31, 2003. How I spent my New Year's Eve with my son: "Draw Johnny Depp". We completed our drawings the next day. What a fabulous way to end one year and begin the next.
Detail from a box of cut and folded paper nets that make molecular models, with reflection in a mirror. See the comments for a typical finished model. What you may see in the image above is up to you, an exercise in imagination.
"Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious." Quote - Stephen Hawking
A beautiful little origami crane, submitted to Macro Mondays for the theme "paper art". A gift, not one I made myself.

Macro Mondays theme: Paper Art
For this week's theme I crafted a small coaster from one empty toilet paper roll. The finished piece is 6cm (a little over 2 1/3") on each side. The flattened tube was cut into eight equal loops and woven together according to one of many videos on YouTube. It was strongly evocative of the gum wrapper crafts of my childhood.
