I find these red pandas such beautiful animals; they are so adorable to watch. Red pandas love to eat bamboo shoots, leaves, fruit and insects if they manage to catch them. They spend a lot of time in the trees and they are very skilful and acrobatic, even at times they look like they might fall they manage to save themselves. Please enjoy this youtu by Emily Phillips

Chengdu Reasearch Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Sichuan, China

I'd never seen a Panda Bear before, so I was quite ecstatic to find an enclosure that had a Panda not only just 10 feet away, but also a very short 4 (or so) foot glass barrier (and a pit, of course) between us, allowing me to freely shoot this Panda without worrying about having to shoot through glass or some kind of mesh.

Inside joke, "...A Panda generally eats chutes & leaves."

Photos taken at the Panda Research Centre in Chengdu, Sichuan (China). This is the largest centre for panda preservation and research in the world with approximately 200 pandas.
