Driving thru Novato today, I came upon this fantastic tree scene. Looks like kudzu (or ivy run amok) has formed a Xmas tree around this way tall palm. Obviously it's been there for quite some time, but I used to be distracted by the, now gone, low life motel that was on the same property, so never noticed the tree.

A bee's nest using the leaves of a palm tree to protect themselves against rain and sun... incredible. It looks really nice and show us how smart can be the insects, bees, butterflies and all kind of living being.
