La Botánica no es lo mío. Lo he visto y lo he fotografiado.

Super Squat Palm Trees on Southbank Melbourne, not quite sure if they were trying to create an Oasis here, but I think they failed.

Photo 44/365 - So glad to be back in the land of warm sun and palm trees, even in February!

Enjoying the many beautiful sunsets in Guam. This was taken in Tanguisson Beach or NCS beach.

Tobago beautiful park.

This picture is a good example of the IQ that's possible using a ten year old camera body and lens. I did not crop this picture and made minimal changes in post.

Late last year a local park experienced a lightning strike in a grove of palm trees and the resulting fire destroyed approximately 75 trees. The grove was located near a natural hot spring and the trees had never been trimmed. In 1873, a ranch and health resort was built at this location.

I took this picture in our backyard just after the sun had set. I intentionally focused on the palm fronds, with the intent that the moon be out of focus, but not washed out altogether. Although I was not entirely successful in this effort, I liked the result well enough to post it anyway. Any suggestions on how to avoid the washed-out moon are welcome.

The trademark of any vacation by the sea, these palm trees provide scenic atmosphere along the beach.

I took this on my little vacation to Palm Desert.
