Drove most of the way back to St. Louis last night after the shoot, but not all the way, so I had to get up early to drive the last hour or so before work. Got up early enough that I was able to make a few photo stops on the way home, too, which was cool.
I'd managed to pick up an old Canon film camera for twelve bucks, so I slapped an $800 lens on it and had a fun photography morning.
Blending ideas from quantum mechanics and linguistics, Palindrome is a symmetrical machine that plays on the two viewing points of this corner window. The shape extruded by the four moving points of light form a double ended horn that the artist regards as the perfect diagram of a horn.

Palindrome Thirsty Thurs: 9/19/19 at 9AM and 19 seconds.... a great reason to stop and take a Selfie!!! Headed to the Marina where we stopped for our HIIT Station...on the way back, I told them to run back to Ave C and finish it off going up the stairs 3 times....Cat Woman visualized it 3 times...not sure if she really did it OMG HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!! While they were running sprints, I was taking pictures of Ellie-Girl and Wailee and imagining their conversation ... probably something like this,
Wailee: I had my last chemo treatment yesterday. As a prize, they gave me this Survivor Scarf. You like it?
Ellie Girl: What's chemo? Not really impressed with the scarf. I'm more in to the Aloha Vibe...you know, Hawaiian prints?
Wailee: I have no idea what chemo is, but they stuck needles in my leg and put medicine in it 16 times!!
Ellie Girl: (SIDE EYE MOMENT).....Oh man...I'm sorry...that's stinks.....OK, I like your scarf. It's a nice color.
Wailee: Thanks....now let's stop talking and check out that squirrel at 1:00!!!
Ellie Girl: Ohhhhh....it's flicking her tail at us!! WOOOOF WOOOOOOOFFF!!
Great stuff NP, RL, CW and AG!!

After your not-so-nice winter forecast this morning, Phil.
You sorta made up for it with a pleasing palindrome presentation.
"রমাকান্ত কামার" is a famous palindromic name in Bengali which reads same backward as forward. I try to fusion this palindrome word with rotational ambigram. Ambigram is another word art in which you can read the same name when upside down.
I named this series - "Palindrome ft. Ambigram". In this series every name can be read backward such forward and also can be read the same rotating 180 degrees.
Description: Four-sided colored glass lamp shade, captured from one edge.
Lighting: camera flash in dark room.
Post-processing: upped brightness and contrast, created fade-in from edges, upped ambiance.
Taken with Nexus 4 camera (8MP)

After making the Palindrome scarf, I decided to make a palindrome hat..then I frogged that first attempt. I then decided to just make a palindrome scarf...joined in the round, and make a cowl, but with eyelets along the top, so I could pull a cord or ribbon through them, draw it closed, and make it a hat!
I pulled the cowl up so high in this shot just to show how long it is...no drafts sneaking in with this puppy!!
