This could have been taken this morning, but it wasn't. It was from Monday morning and it's just another garden variety UP piss brick with rusty spots everywhere.
I guess only the cool kids get to shoot fresh paint with palindrome numbers.
Real photo postcard. Postally unused.
Bought from an eBay seller in Valdampierre, Picardie, France.
The symbol of a horse's head within a horseshoe on the reverse reveals the postcard was manufactured by R. Guilleminot, Bœspflug et Cie., a Paris photographic paper manufacturer, probably between 1910 and 1925. - www.cparama.com/forum/papiers-photographiques-t3303.html
Simply a photo for Flickr Friday group as the theme this week is palindrome. And I can't think of a better palindrome than RACECAR, being a motorsports fan, particularly, a Formula 1 fan since 1996.

La Biblia en palíndromo
Pedro Ruiz Lozano
He's keeping busy
Yeah he's bleeding stones
With his machinations and his palindromes
It was anything but hear the voice
Anything but hear the voice
It was anything but hear the voice
That says that we're all basically alone
Poor Professor Pynchon had only good intentions
When he put his Bunsen burners all away
And turning to a playground in a Petri dish
Where single cells would swing their fists
At anything that looks like easy prey
In this nature show that rages every day
It was then he heard his intuition say
We were all basically alone
And despite what all his studies had shown
That what's mistaken for closeness
Is just a case of mitosis
And why do some show no mercy
While others are painfully shy
Tell me doctor can you quantify
He just wants to know the reason why
The reason why
Why do they congregate in groups of four
Scatter like a billion spores
And let the wind just carry them away
How can kids be so mean
Our famous doctor tried to glean
As he went home at the end of the day
In this nature show that rages every day
It was then he heard his intuition say
We were all basically alone

We stopped here because the lake was still, shot some cat tails with reflections of the Alabama Hills and the Sierras, then walked over to the dock and saw this playful cloud scene. The clouds were actually an auger of things to come.
Thanks for stopping by to visit!

The challenge for Saturday 26th February is an image that depicts time, the passage of time, or something associated with time. What’s significant about this image (a corner of my iPad’s home screen) is the exact time and date it was taken, which as you see was two minutes after twenty past ten on Tuesday evening, or to put it another way, 22.22 hrs on 22.02.2022, a palindromic date for those of us who configure dates in day/month/year format! I chose the iPad as the object because it conveniently combined clock and calendar displays side-by-side. I do humbly apologise for not having captured it at 22 seconds, but you will appreciate that I had a very narrow window of opportunity to fire off several shots and make sure that at least one was usable. Because as the Bard says in another context, “If ‘twere done, then ‘twere well ‘twere done quickly”.
If you’re wondering about what’s on the right side of the image, it’s part of where the home screen features thumbnails of randomly chosen photos from my albums, in this case a photo of the model Hawker Hurricane at RAF Kenley. (The model stands on a tall mast facing into the wind across the bleakness of the airfield, but it did manage to withstand Friday’s 75+mph gusts intact.)
== As always, your comments (and faves, should you be so inclined) are greatly appreciated! ==

This is a shot from my Master Bath. I recently had an image that I took of the sunrise at Angkor Wat printed on metal and hung in the bathroom (I love how it turned out). This is an image of it hanging as reflected in two medicine cabinets.

Is this a reflective palindrome? The symmetry of this reflection means that even the vandalised message is not lost!

I buy a lot of these towels at Target Stores. They are usually $3 or less. For the money I think they are quite nice. I was removing the inspection tags, and noticed this Palindrome 363.
