Francesca Gabbiani: The Present. Patrick Painter West Gallery After Party: 09/12/09, Santa Monica, CA.
The original photo was of a painter painting a large mural of sailboats.
I converted it to 3D in a way that made the painter look as if he's painting in 3D by placing him inside his own painting.
The right image is the original.

Danger Painters is Michael Barron, Bob Boilen, William X Harvey and Kevin Lay. Their musical Heritage dates back to the seminal 70s-80s DC music scene, including Tiny Desk Unit, Fuji's Navy and Rhoda & The Bad Seeds.
The band members met in DC but now live in Maryland, New York and Rhode Island, collaborating via the internet and very rarely meeting in one place to perform in public.

Taken at Monterey Market, I applied Snap Art to the photo to make it look a little more painterly. I'm just experimenting with this software, which is fun to play with when you like art and photography but don't draw especially well.

Polaroid. It was a monkey on a t.v show. Wearing a little fez or something. It looked into the camera, startled. It surprised me how much it ended up looking like a painting.
This picture I took of a painter 1964th The painter was working on Johannes brandstation in Stockholm. I had spoken with him before, and knew that he worked right here, now and asked him to stand still when I took some pictures. (The equipment was a Leica M2 with Canon 1,8 / 35 mm Tri-X)
