The arduous renovation of railway line No. 8—running north from Kraków towards Warsaw—is slowly drawing to a close. As part of the project, the Kraków Batowice station (visible in the background) has undergone significant reconstruction: two additional platforms serving the parallel line No. 95 have been added to the two existing ones serving line No. 8. Unfortunately, it was not possible to coordinate these works with the construction of the new Kraków Prądnik Czerwony railway stop, which is set to be built in the area visible in the photo (though outside the frame, behind the photographer).
The photo shows a train traveling from Kielce to Kraków.
