We're back! After an amazing, relaxing, beautiful honeymoon on St John we arrived home late Friday night. And after two days of hurricane Sandy now we're wondering why we came back at all :) Quite an adjustment to come back from the paradise above to cool wind and rain. Oh well, between me and Andrezza we took 2500+ pics during our stay there! So we have plenty of reminders of paradise. And we'll be sharing many of them over the days ahead. So hopefully you won't get tired of the flood of island pics to come :)

I came across this scene while on a morning walk along the banks of Loch Lomond. It brings a whole new meaning to taking the dog for a walk!
The final one
This is the final sunset shot in this series. In keeping with other entries, there is a paddleboarder, silhouettes and lots of Nairn loveliness.
I used an ND filter to cope with the strength of the light and get the effect that I was looking for.

We got up at 6, ate breakfast and got to Laguna at 7:15. It was a wonderful day with so much going on. Lots of scuba divers, paddleboarders, Pokemon Go-ers, more dog walkers than I've seen before.
(You'll share in some of those in the next few days - haha.)
Benni's beach was a bit busier than usual but she found plenty of open beach and got right into the water, did zoomies, got rolled around by the waves a few times. It was a wonderful morning. She was in doggy heaven.

Smoking Dude...
We decided to make a day trip down to Jack Darling Park to walk along the waterfront and take a few photos. Yesterday was extremely hot and muggy with a threat of severe thunderstorms. I find these types of days make for more interesting images; as the thick, dark cloud cover creates a nice separation between the lake and the sky.
I noticed a guy on a paddle board he was. cruising along, he had an extra large Tim Horton's coffee on the back of the board and what looks like a joint in his mouth, though it could be a cigarette. He was trying to catch up to his lady friend who was doing a much better job of navigating the board than he was. when I took this shot I thought he was going to hit the rocks. LOL

Report from 2 days ago.
It was just 2 weeks today that Don saw the two shark fins in the water just where this report came in on Thursday. He's stayed out of the water all this time, no bodyboarding, and is hoping they decide to move on soon.
The scariest report was Wednesday when paddleboarders were told by loudspeaker from a helicopter, "You are paddleboarding next to approximately 14 Great White sharks. You are advised to exit the water in a calm manner."
Hard to believe that this was once a bustling destination full of life and people having fun, now it's a destination for birds, paddleboarders and photographers

Taking a break from posting my photographs from this year's visit to Cornwall to catch up with some of the stuff I've done since we got back home.
This photograph, taken down on Sunderland's seafront, featured in The Times newspaper. The sea conditions were remarkably calm and proved just perfect for these two paddle boarders.
