For the second part of our trip we flew to Hawaii, the most recent of the 50 US States, situated in the Pacific Ocean. We intended to visit two of the islands, Oahu and Kauai.

Honolulu, on the island of Oahu, is the capital and principal commercial and financial centre of the US state of Hawaii. It is also the most populous place in the islands.

Most tourists, however, stay in the Honolulu neighbourhood of Waikiki, best known for its beach, hotels, shops and night-life. This is where we stayed.
