'A breathtaking video has emerged from Puerto Madryn, Argentina showing a playful whale swimming under the subject's paddleboard. Filmed by Maximiliano Jonas, this clip features a standup paddleboarder being followed by a Southern Right Whale swimming close to the surface. The filmer wrote: "These whales surely love paddleboards. Every time they spot one floating on the water, they get all excited and approach it but not in an intimidating way." August 31, 2021. Name: Maximiliano Jonas Location: Puerto Madryn'

A paddleboarder stroking into the mist on a foggy, but beautiful morning a couple months ago.

I like the quality of light here and the cormorant gliding across the top of the water and its slight shadow on the water beneath.

The anti-submarine boom and the Thames estuary forts are clearly visible on the horizon, as are the masts of the windfarm that (depending on your point of view) desecrate the otherwise unspoilt view.

Brilliant Paddle Boarder Tom Hewitt

Enjoying the view from our Airbnb in Tangolunda.

Lovely relaxing first day of our holiday. We woke up naturally reasonably early (well, before 8am), got up slowly, and then went out to stock up on food at the local supermarket. Came back and chilled out a bit, ate lunch, and then went back out on foot for a little explore. We headed down to the beach (Gyllyngvase), and spent quite a long time picking our way across the rocks and peering into rockpools. It was a very active little beach, with a surf lesson going on, kayakers and quite a few paddle boarders. This lady looked pretty good at it, and covered quite a distance rather quickly.

After a while at the beach, we headed over to the quays and the town centre - and had a good long walk all around there too. Came back to the cottage about 3:30pm and despite plans to go back out this evening, ended up settling in and relaxing - so nice after how busy we've both been recently. Tim cooked us a delicious chilli for dinner and we watched Rango on Netflix. Perfect!

This shot was taken from the foreshore at Swansea SA1 - it reminded me of the sculptures by Antony Gormley - maybe it's Swansea's version!

Lots of kayakers and paddleboarders
