The tomb of the unknown Indian is a religious place filled with offerings and plaques giving their thanks to him.
Fascinating and lovingly kept cemetery with impressive mausoleums. Includes a very interesting monument to the Indio Desconocido or unknown Indian, who has apparently become an icon to people who pray in his name and seek favors, much like St. Jude in North American Catholic culture

Methyl bromide is a powerful ozone layer depletor. Soil fumigation using methyl bromide has resulted in elevated concentrations of this chemical in the stratosphere. Because of methyl bromide's significant contribution to ozone depletion, the parties to the Montreal Protocol, including the United States, agreed in 1992 to control this substance.
The United States is by far the single largest user of methyl bromide. Abusing the Montreal Protocol - an instrument to phase out methyl bromide use in developed countries - the U.S. repeatedly asks for permission from the Parties to consume high levels of this dangerous chemical. EIA investigations into U.S. stockpiles revealed the high amount of methyl bromide in reserve. These investigations resulted in the Parties refusing to grant the U.S. its requested level.
