I always feel like I am observing the world, from some inner landscape, some private place, tucked away on an inner sunny roof ....sometimes it is stunningly beautiful, overwhelmingly marvelous and sometimes it is painfully colorless, stark and cruel. I take notes like a traveler that knows won't be long here and often transform those impression in fleeting images.

At some point, we all leave this place and move on an infinite journey through time and light.

It is best to look at the world with a bird's eye view, most matters become so small, and all is left is the infinite pure spaciousness of the sky above.

My final and own personal favourite from my recent shoot on the River Dee, the story behind this is a week before i photographed this boat and converted it to mono, i thought it looked quite good, so i had it canvassed, you may think yes thats good, have a good look at it on my stream and have a good look at this one, anyway the guy who is the owner of this boat was delighted when i said i would get him one printed, hope he likes this shot. The noticeable difference was the owner had only just painted the CH66 on the right side, you can see on the mono shot its missing.

This Adelie Penguin looks very happy to have his own ice island. Taken from a zodiac near Paulet Island, which is a circular island off the north-east end of the Antarctic Peninsula. It is a popular tourist stop because of the large Adelie Penguin colony. This was the fifth penguin 🐧 species that we saw.

I have been away for a few days so will catch up with everyone.
