via Instagram ift.tt/2xpRcey And it was from this chair that he finally came to the conclusion that perhaps investing in that 40 year 401k was a bad idea. . . . . #skyline #view #overprocessed

Clouds were being uncooperative today. I liked the smoke-looking ones anyways.

Today was supposed to be *day to take photos to overprocess in photoshop* day, but i'm too tired and my subjects weren't feeling so...into the artistic aspect...so they are all SOC

overprocessed, i know.

i just was entirely too bored not to do something fun.

i have been feeling very uninspired and decided to visit this church that has been in a shambles since our large earthquake three years ago. it is almost fully repaired and it wasn't in the state i was hoping for. so i tried out an HDR in photomatix, than layered the photo a few times in photoshop with different processing each time. it's overprocessed and odd, but something different i suppose. for "cwd" architecture.

I have a disease, Im obsessed with taking photos and later fucking them up in photoshop. The thing is I have no eye for composition, I have no talent, I have nothing besides my dying n95 and crappy EOS 88. The photos you see in this set are completely pointless, meaningless and rather ugly, their only purpose is to sedate me for a little while till my shutter finger starts twitching again.

this is actually a regular cloud in the sky, but I overdid the values and decided to rotate it; it reminded me of a cloud in the ocean; perhaps animals spawning or a geyser of some sort

i don't care much for cars, or the garish, overprocessed pictures people often make of them. nevertheless, i couldn't resist having a little fun and going (way) over the top with this one (aster egg in the license plate).

I seem to be on a blurry photo streak

My Flickr statistics for 2024 are singularly unimpressive.

Note the disparity between "faves given" and "faves received." Make me seem like a stingy old Scrooge, doesn't it? But that's not the case at all.

You see, Flickr "faves" were never intended to be the same as Instagram "likes." "Faves" were intended as a way to bookmark photos users found especially memorable or wished to revisit. They were never designed to be simplistic "I saw it" notifications.

As another disparity in my statistics indicate, I use "comments" to single out photos I see and which I wish to acknowledge.

I'd much rather receive one comment than any number of "faves." The "faves" merely indicate that someone quickly scrolled through and tapped the "fave" button. A comment takes a moment, and indicates genuine interaction.

Anyway, I haven't had a photo appear in Explore in years. I don't know the algorithm parameters to make that happen anymore. Dreamy overprocessed landscapes seem to make up the bulk of Explore photos, with some macros of bugs mixed in.

I clicked on the My Flickr Year link because I got tired of seeing the header pop-up. I thought clicking on the link would make it go away. Nope. I'm still seeing it.

It's sometimes a bit of a shock, seeing what you can do with a few simple tools.

m, lucy, and i went to the beach this morning. it was blustery, but that kind of march blustery where the wind is cool but not biting and the sun is warm, almost hot even.

Okay, I tried to follow the suggestions left on the original--any thoughts on the comparison? I think it looks kind of overprocessed in this version, perhaps something in between....

#Raphadramatic snaps from the Leicester Forest Cycling Club's annual road race in September 2014.

Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?

My main Flickr stream, that has less pictures of men in lycra, is here: www.flickr.com/photos/placid_casual/

Taken at sunset on Sept 18, 2008 a mere 26 days after FINALLY getting a photograph on Aug 23. Have no idea what they're up to... As in the first, overprocessed in Topaz.

I've never been in love with this shot. But I can't throw it out either :/

Thoughts/critiques/tips/comments?

Overprocessed nonsense

Thought id try and experiment a bit with some different colours. Let me know what you think!

Original version www.flickr.com/photos/stewwi/2339223878/

I couldn't brighten this ISO 1600 shot without blowing out the background and introducing a lot of noise in the foreground... but then I saw I had a "look" going and went all out, intentionally burning out the shadows and highlights and then oversharpening it to accentuate the noise. There you go. :)

View it large. The downscaling here almost makes it look normal.

I highly processed this shroom, just for the effect. I know it's over processed but I think it is still worth sharing because of it's psychadelic nature.

REALLY GLOWS:View On Black

I def overprocessed this one, and the next one I'm putting up. But I liked them better this way, w/ the higher contrast. Sooooo, there you have it.

A cactus flower, from my Dad's greenhouse, this summer. I found this when idly deleting old stuff. The bit of leaf distresses me as it makes it look wildly overprocessed, but it was like that when it plopped out of the camera. I've just tweaked the tones and contrast a bit.

Some overprocessed HDRs for your eyeballs.

Playing with old shots.....its amazing what you see 5 years later.....I guess I have really learned a bit...I really overprocessed a LOT of shots...and some, like this one really could have benefitted from it earlier.....I have found some gems that I didn't even consider for posting in 2004 etc.....

just pretend you don't see that 2000-whatever pickup parked behind it.

Faster than I was - never got a chance to do any settings - just shooting away!

Underexposed and overprocessed.

Sometimes the luck has to be on bird's side :-))

Added a bit of lens flare overtop the existing krypton rings just to see how it would look.

I feel like a heathen overprocessing the images from this camera, though.

on the beach at Whitstable

Slightly overprocessed - my first time shooting in RAW and messing about with it afterwards.

i haven't uploaded in a long time.

i need batteries for my camera, but it seems i'm too busy to even take pictures.

so i'll just continue to over-process my older photos until i take some new ones.

Kurt needed comforting.

This is somewhat overprocessed to make the splash of water stand out against the sky. Shot in Bracebridge.

All criticisms, comments, tips and advice greatfully received!
