Perhaps a bit overprocessed, but this is what Photomatix did with my three HDR exposures. No extra boost of saturation from me.

Sometimes I like to play with my photos, this was one of those times.

The creek is such a pretty place to take photos, but unfortunately the tall trees and lackluster sunset colors made a dull image SOOC. This one is a bit overprocessed, but I like it. (Check out the swan in the lower left corner!)

This 48" X 36" oil on canvas, "Child Running At The Getty" is my latest piece in this series of overhead figures painted in my "digital impressionist" style. When compiling the reference for this piece, I was very careful to choose the frame of video that showed the perfect moment of weight transfer from one leg to the other to capture the best gesture. I also cropped this piece to give the feeling of the child running into frame. While painting it, I started to overprocess it, but my wife came in the studio and stopped me from ruining the piece.

Hipstamatic shot processed with Pixlromatic, Photogene2 and ScratchCam apps. A tad overprocessed I admit, but, just trying to have fun and let some color back into stream.

Please don't pinch my pictures. If you'd like to use them, then let me know. I probably won't charge, but it's nice to be nice, right?

Heavily over-processed image of a sunset seen from in front of our house in Kitahiroshima in August of 2018. I used so many red pixels in this picture that the camera can only make cyanotype images now...

The Daily Shoot

Today’s Daily Shoot assignment is:

The horizon can be a strong composition element. Make a photograph that emphasizes the horizon today.

Get out there, take a photograph, upload it, and tweet a link to @dailyshoot with the hashtag: #ds497

Approaching Holyhead Island having crossed the Irish Sea, slightly tricky shooting into the sun on a moving deck with 40 knot draft, but fortunately managed to get the horizon level! Curves adjusted slightly and strangely a "soft light" applied to increase the contrast of a hazy North Wales.

The sky was not so gloomy in real life, I guess I just didn't feel good about the meeting to come ;)

Lovely Overprocessed pink roses...va va voom!

Dreadful shot today, I was too tired and had too much to think about - hence the overprocessing. This will be my office on Fridays from now on - if I can get the connection to the office working. Ever.

I don't have either the patience or the healthy hair my friend Julie has for Locks of Love. See here: www.flickr.com/photos/theolivers_inwisconsin/1922974613/

My hair is so trashed and full of split ends and thin and frizzies, did i mention trashed and over processed......on and on....I am going under the scissors. Be Back in a jiffy!

Attention à la marche...

I know it's a bit overprocessed, but I was just playing around with photoshop

but not sure if she can get that door open by herself. in the end she jumped through the ripped screen.

Color My World Daily

Natural light; Nik Silver Efex "overprocessed" and noise reduction.

Colours lookes better on this, but feels overprocessed now, will try again with the AVI, which looked promising. Gain must have been too low to pick up nearby Io.

Used Skywatcher 127mm Maksutov, Televue 2.5x Powermate and SPC900 Webcam.

AVI Captured with wxAstroCapture and processed in Registax 6 and Photoshop.

I am not a fan of overprocessed HDRs, but I did kind of like this one... which means either it's a potentially passable overprocessed HDR; or perhaps my aesthetic opinions are faltering.

First try with Adox Ortho 25. Unfortunately my lab's processor had a breakdown and these were overprocessed. In addition to some marks the contrast is much higher than I had wanted, but you get the basic ortho idea. I have another roll that I will be shooting shortly and I hope this will work as intended.

Shot with my Speed Graphic, 6x7, 101mm Optar, on a tripod (of course) due to the low ISO.

Old Merchants Despatch office in the car shops in East Rochester.

way overprocessed, of course.

Overprocessed. Oh well.

Bevier Memorial Building. I did a fake ortho a while back, here's the real thing.

Hmm. Next time I do HDR, I'm not using handheld pictures :) The high ISO noise and misalignment kind of ruins the effect.

I tried to create an HDR image without the "overprocessed" look that's currently popular - I just want to show you what I could see with my eyes, but which the camera couldn't do.

The lovely, faux-European canal in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan

U.K., London, British museum, totally overprocessed I know, but liked it somehow

Just playing with filters in GIMP again. I've applied too many to remember to this including dynamic range compression, noise reduction, various rounds of sharpening followed by a diana-holga simulation script to finish it off properly!

The last Fridays After 5 of 2008 in the Charlottesville Pavilion. Featuring Indecision and some rather gloomy skies.
