The Smile on Saturday theme of 'over processed'.
Maybe it will become 'The Shadow of Your Smile'. Well OK, just on Saturday 😊
The sun coming through the windows cast these great shadows. I added a few items of interest to make it feel more grand and special.
The rising moon was very blurred (too much atmospheric turbulence). Therefore I decided to overprocess it... just a bit!!! 😅😅😅
P.S. The trees on the bottom part of the moon are real!!!
1. this train was just begging to be turned pink w/ my overprocessing obsession.
and
2. i cannot sleep because i took a big nap when i got home from work.
When I awoke I noticed my neighbor was running their sprinklers this morning and I knew I wanted the misty magic in my image somehow. I had to patiently wait until the sun and water cooperated but the wind kept knocking over my bottle. I am sure it was funny to watch me sitting in the sprinklers getting soaked and waiting, moving, recomposing, hitching up my pants, picking up my bottle, pacing. Though not technically perfect in any way I really love so much about it I had to keep it.
This image was inspired from a dream of a tree I use to play in as a child...as only a dream can imagine.

31/52 Weeks - Overprocessed
I took this one while out kayaking and then had a little fun with it while processing.

Smile On Saturday-Over Processed
This beautiful, but over processed bird came to feed on the suet today.
A little bit "overprocessed". Experimentation
Please don't post your photos here nor GLITTERY IMAGES. They will be removed. Don't invite me to any group. I will not accept ;-)
This is a photo of the Rolling Stones logo, the tongue, I added a red edge to it.
I love the sort of graphic look it got.
Happy Smile on Saturday

Dramatically overprocessed for Sliders Sunday, Monochrome Monday, and abstract anyday, inviting pareidolia. Face or pawprint or...?

yep its a bit overprocessed but the initial photo quality was not very good (taken with a phone) and I liked the final look a lot.
3 shots combined afterwards into HDR... and lots of postprocess.
I was taking photos at an abandoned depot in Cleveland,Tn. when this train slid by. I slid too. HSS!

😄“Happy Smile on Saturday“for all of you and stay healthy.😄

This started out as snapdragons...orange, white and pink. I only did a few things in Photoshop, primarily a wave distortion. I love the colors and how it looks a bit like stained glass. Hope you have a wonderful day!
My sweet pup and I are enjoying a frolic in the fall season here in the southern states. The colors seem more vivid this year, or maybe because I'm now retired, I've been able to watch them develop.
Happy Slider Sunday!
More of an experiment than anything else. I took a shot of a bridge at Dunkeld in Perthshire, Scotland, and "Autumnised" it by thrashing colour and clarity at it from every which way.
Hello my dear friends! Another HDR from me. I know it's a little too overprocessed again. But I just love the vibrance! :)

An overprocessed version of the reflected trees from the previous photo I uploaded. I like the trippy feel of the end result. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday. HSS!

Don't look too closely - overprocessed, and then processed a little bit more :-)
HSS!

For Smile on Saturday 5th December 2020
I am a complete novice at photoshop and have no idea as to how I got to this final image, but I quite liked the effect.
As I liked to ''overprocess the clouds'' for Smile on Saturday, I tried to turn the ‘colour screws’ on this picture as well and felt that the result looks like fairyland …
When I changed the picture a little after a tip from Werner B., to my astonishment fairies actually appeared now !! 😜
I know it may not look it to fellow American (or European) audiences, but keep in mind how densely populated a lot of Japan is. This right here, qualifies as countryside.
So as you may know from a much earlier shot, I already explained my experience going to Arakurayama. How tiresome it was when the road was still closed. As I was descending back down I saw the torii gate I passed in the entrance and saw Fuji still had that morning sunlight on it. Along with all of Fujiyoshida spread out before it. I brought up my 200mm and then I made my move.
The one tradeoff was Fuji was still not as clear as I wanted it to be. But by now it's a normal chore to fix up Fuji in my shots so after a while of potentially overprocessing it I left that be and then worked on the rest of the image. I drained the highlights to take the focus off the city and the nearby hill I also removed bright elements from said hill so it wouldn't stand out. This is also my only shot where I centered Fuji instead of putting it on one side, hope you like the change cause I don't think this is one I'm going to return to.
For the Smile on Saturday theme 'overprocessed portrait' A heck of a sunburn! Me in the reflection of the sunglasses at St David's Head Pembrokeshire. Have a fun day folks ;0)
