Dan Andrews, Victorian Premier, will go down in history for his phrase "back on the beers" Here is my over-processed take on this idea. A new eating/drinking area on Southbank with a Corona Beer ( found at the Botanic Gardens) with a bit of texture and blur.

Need to click and increase the image size to see the rest of the processing.

I think I overprocessed this. Ok, no.. I KNOW I overprocessed this, but meh. ♥

For Smile on Saturday's #over-processed theme

The flower was converted in Topaz using a 'sketch' preset of mine. The 'flower shower' was the result of learning about and playing around with custom brushes in affinity photo, using two different vectors including another flower and a star. The stripey lines are produced by taking a small selection and stretching it out. Some texture, some colour manipulation, and some creative framing,

Definitely over-processed. But loads of fun!

Neuland für mich und eigentlich nicht mein Stil,

aber hat Spaß gemacht, etwas Neues auszuprobieren.

New territory for me and not really my style,

but it was fun to try something new.

Dark Series

Sometimes when I am trying to think of a slider to use, I go, Oh Yeah! Dark Series.....

here ya go.

Happy Slider Sunday

Canon EOS 6D - f/2.8 - 1/80sec - 100 mm - ISO 1250

- I did take a picture of a balloon in which I had put some LED fingerlights.

The result was very unsharp and messy. (see the first comment)

But after doing some -uhhh...well, a lot- of post processing I did get this abstract multicolored 'work of art' !

- Result:

I see here now a nightmare in which some kind of creatures are desperately trying to escape from their lockdown situation.

Not too much to say today, feeling a tad under the weather.

When I started editing this photo I wasn't happy with where things were going...I was overprocessing, I think, and I skewed it really reddish yellow. But then I realized that creating a natural look was more appropriate. Sometimes I need to practice restraint!

I wasn't able to participate to "Smile on Saturday" this week, but luckily there is a new group for this funny genre of pics!!! ;-)

Have a nice weekend, dear friends.

For Smile on Saturday theme 'Over-processed'. The original image of the snail on the mushroom has been processed to give it a classic 'fairy tale' appearance without going ridiculously OTT - a shot that would likely have never gone further than my computer screen were it not for this SoS theme.

No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph.

This is Grumpy Fish who is Grumpy Cat's cousin by another mother. ;-) HSS!! :-)

(If you don't know Grumpy Cat.. firstly.. why not!! lol.. Go here:

Taken at the fish pond at the park, which you can see in my Photostream 3 pics back. Did multiple effects in Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz. I kept going and going. As soon as I thought I was done, I tried something else and liked it. lol.. I did not alter his mouth. Luckily this is for Slider Sunday where overprocessing is expected. HSS! :-)

This is a "vintage-like" image.

I hope that you will like the result! ;-)

I used a portrait that I found here on flickr, and can you believe it, Joel is Dutch too :)

I wanted to give the photo a kind of comic effect.

Hope this is overprocessed enough.

Happy Smile on Saturday

For the "Looking close... on Friday!" challenge "Fruits (over-processed picture)"

This week I found some small oranges with leaves (always a treat to photograph) This is one that has been put through my 'slicer and dicer' in Photoshop. It's ages since I dissected a photo, so I thought I'd have some fun with this challenge. 😊

[The orange is approx 2" across]

Well, today I learned not to mix too many light sources. A red background with a bluish foreground light makes for very muddy colors. I appreciate digital cameras but wish I had the opportunity to learn how to develop film in a dark room. I stumbled across these negatives the other day and knew that I had to use them in some way.

Totally over processed in Black and White

Overprocessed, and then processed just a little bit more ;-)

Thank you for taking the time to view my photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.

For "Smile on Saturday" ; theme : "over-processed" .

Our hike to the Gergeti Trinity Church was mostly grey and rainy. On the descent, the sun suddenly broke through the clouds. The only reasonable composition was almost straight into the sun.

My efforts to keep it in colour weren't successful. The sunburst was too hot. With the switch to b/w and massive processing, I finally achieved a result I am satisfied with. Nothing for purists and I can understand anyone calling this overprocessed. Not a single pixel remained untouched. Not to speak of the additional dead pixels in my sensor from now on.

Welcome to the world of surreal colours! :P This hdr processing might not suit the preferences of many as i myself think its unreal too LOL! However i'm facing the usual Monday's blue & i honestly need some good colours to spice up the start of the week! Therefore i kinda overprocess this a little bit more than usual to make me & my mood feel better haha! Oh gosh! by saying this.. i already feel heaps great now! :P Please treat this as an Artie's Style illustration instead & hope you will still enjoy this nonetheless! Happy begining to the week everyone! :)

Replaced version with a non-HDR, whitebalanced and color-balanced version from LR. The HDR looked overprocessed with too much blue. Now it appears smoother too.

Not my usual style.... for Sliders Sunday. Shot this after the snow storm and for some reason, shooting in to the sun, the sky color came out green.... so I figured it was already a good start for a Slider Sunday shot!

Freezing rain this morning... should make for an interesting drive to work. UGH!

Silos and barn roof at a friends old dairy farm. HSS!

Overprocessed stubble field seen on a drive home.

The rising moon was very blurred (too much atmospheric turbulence). Therefore I decided to overprocess it... just a bit!!! 😅😅😅

P.S. The trees on the bottom part of the moon are real!!!

For "Looking Close on... Friday!" Well that was a fun time spent in Photoshop this morning, a good distraction for me.

The sun coming through the windows cast these great shadows. I added a few items of interest to make it feel more grand and special.
