This honey bee was carrying so much pollen that she was unable to fly. Questa ape trasportava così tanto polline da non riuscire a volare. :)
Today my subject was : The bee .I was so happy that I succeed to surprise her in the air , full with pollen and also if you look closely you will see a drop of pollen fallen from her body
Sometimes with the barrage of all the TV, internet, radio and other digital age communication it gets too overwhelming....

The destruction and demolition of our city's beloved Coral Springs Financial Plaza Building ... it was first built in 1974. The removal is to facilitate a new multi-million dollar City Center. Our city was founded in 1963 and at that time, a few blocks from here, Johnny Carson was one of the first people to buy a few lots in our city after he made it to our celebratory 'open of the city day' and party. On a personal note; Laura and I both worked in this wonderful building in the 70's, 80's and 90's, and we have many happy memories of friends in this fine building, and watching our city being built around us with the city's founder, Laura's wonderful employer; Coral Ridge Properties and Westinghouse, Inc. - Laura made it as far as the upper-penthouse floor (above), along with the mayor, and I can remember her going out on the roof with the VIP's in the morning sometimes to watch the shuttle launch to the east over the Atlantic. All of us old-timers will miss this building that we all loved so very much. Thanks for looking.

Plaza was the tallest building west of Interstate 95 in
Broward County. The building was demolished in 2021.

Leica M3, 35mm f2 Summicron, and Rollei Retro 400S stand developed for 1 hour in Rodinal 1 + 100.
This is Jane and her nine week old Westie, Towan. (For the non Cornish, the 'ow' is pronounced 'ow' not 'oh').
Towan was out getting used to strange noises like cars and buses, other dogs, and in this case, strange old blokes on a bike.
Jane lives in my village and is also a keen photographer (better than me by a long way!) and has had her shots featured on the BBC Weather Watchers site, as well as on the TV weather forecasts many times.

This bee was laden with pollen, and I found it sitting on a leaf. I held the leaf to keep it steady, but the bee decided to take the opportunity to walk up my hand. This was a big pain as my camera is sooooo heavy that it really needs two hands for support. Deep breath with ID guess...Leioproctus (Leioproctus) sp??

I had to check another "real" in my area, since I heard that some markets restocked the Basic dolls (and not just the Jeans ones!). Sadly I couldn't find any of them, but I found the new Ken Fasionistas single fashion packs - Yay!! ;-) I picked up two of them.
Later on I also stopped at TRU hoping they would have restocked. They had a few new arrivals, like the new Beach dolls, the new asian Ballerina, and the current Valentine's Day Barbie. I was tempted to get one of the mentioned dolls, but I ended up getting more fashions for Ken (the training outfits) and one outfit from Barbie's ne "Valentine's Day exclusive fashion packs".
Actually these were just three new outfits - the bathing suit I decided to get and two quite cheap (but still kinda cute) looking dresses. The three remaining outfits of the line were the three dressed, that also come with Barbie's Ultimate Closet...
The last Ken fashion pack is a recent ebay purchase ;-)
How he kept his balance is beyond me. I photographed this as a slide a long time ago probably in Spain but it could have been in Jamaica or thereabouts. The exposure was too dark so I fixed it up and added some effects. But this is the exact shot I took.
Got to take pictures of some adorable boxer puppies today. The black one was the sweetest, very calm, and loved posing.
