Whilst the other three cubs were climbing all over the fallen tree close by, this Cheetah cub took a breather to watch the action from a distance.
Photographed in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya.
Everyone is probably experiencing some sort of overload in these fraught times.

I took this image 53 years ago in the Phillipines, on the island of Luzon. Notice the 59 Chevy in the background. This pony was almost suspended but when the driver got onto the cart he was no longer suspended.
"Al" the Allen's hummingbird has been having some molting issues lately but it appears he's also become overloaded with pollen acquired during a feeding frenzy from the Mexican Sage that lines the entry to the Los Angeles County Arboretum
often wondered how a bummler of this size
can fly ,,,with only the tiny wing span and such a large body
these are amazing creatures
the aero-dynamics say the size and small wing span its impossible to fly

This is a composite of 5 images merged in Photoshop. The falling cubes were shot without the cup. A Speedlite 430 EX lit the background and optically triggered a 300W strobe with a softbox on the left side. The Speedlite was triggered with a Gadget Infinity sender and receiver.
Vinny is exhausted after a fun day of visiting with the kids and playing with all the boxes and wrapping paper!
He even had some fun with Pearl's new squeaky reindeer!
I am completely and utterly in love with this camera!!! Wow, what a step up from the 40D. Needless to say, this was my favorite shoot up to date. Not only because of my first experience with the 5D mark II, but also, because this little beauty cooperated so beautifully with all of our ideas. Definitely one of my faves!!! So watch out, there will be an overload from this session. ;)
Portal-like entrance with rows of colored paper strips like omikuji (Japanese fortune telling paper strips) along the sides and lighted lanterns above.
Fuku (福) means luck/fortune in Japanese.
Easily missed narrow entrance from the outside but large space by Kyoto standards within, almost like a parallel universe. Sells wagashi, simple meals and in particular the Hyaku-Fuku manju, a sweet bun promising boundless luck and success, every food item they sell are like lucky charms.
Rather quirky, not sure if this place is popular for the locals or tourists.
The lights, traffic, people, and sounds make for a sensory-overload experience walking down Oxford Street, London.
