Is it possible for a dog to have too much fun?! It was awesome to see him enjoying himself so much! I just shot one pic here and was putting my phone away when he reached the end of his leash at full speed and the hand that had the leash also had the phone. It flew pretty good but seems to be working ok...

My good friends that now live in Salt Lake City were in the Wallowa Lake area for a reunion, and invited me down to visit for a day.
Never one to pass up an opportunity to see good friends and enjoy a bit of twisty road to get there, I jumped at the chance.
The Eagle Cap Wilderness is a stunning range of granite mountains in the northeast corner of Oregon, radiating away from its namesake peak. This year, the winter was especially good, leading to swollen, cold, and fast rivers flowing down from the snow still clinging to the upper peaks of the wilderness.
It's loud, bright, active, and beautiful. And like everything in a wild place, the river and the mountains make you feel very small and vulnerable.
That's not always a bad feeling.
