57310 "Pride of Cumbria" almost appears to be hauling the Class 175 running behind it as it crosses the river at Newport back in October 2021.
Toyo monorail 150mm schneider, adox cms20,dev in adotech II 8.5 mins 1-29 20c. Shot at 12asa. Two shot pan 5x4 with generous overlap giving effective 8x4 shot on Adox cms20. Stitched shots in photo elements. A place I have shot many times in all seasons.
We went for a walk this afternoon and stopped off at a local triangle of grass [you know those odd random bits you get between roads]. Anyway, this one has the most amazing daffodils [not open yet] and crocuses [popping up]. Violet adores the crocuses, I think because they are the first flowers [we don't like snowdrops and cyclamens make me feel a bit sick...]. She also found some daisies, the only flower I allow her to pick. Obviously we hunt for pink ones but this was the best shot.
Spring is officially on its way and when you can stand on 5 daisies with one foot then it is Spring!

hm...i have no idea what i was taking a picture of..but this is what came out?
i learned something about myself yesterday..that helping others is what makes me giddy inside (besides your comments&views :])
this reminded me of an art project i did last year with little people walking into a bright light...
It's now in full bloom. Thought you all might want to see it...I forgot the name of this particular Amaryllis. Apples or cherries something or another.
i got some vacation photos back today and i have to say that my favorite roll so far is the one i shot with my holga. all the frames are overlapping and there a light leaks abound but i somehow hit the focus for the most part (and the exposure)! so here's a taste with much more to come later in the week.
in the meantime, have a great 4th of July, my American friends!

"Did you pick up all the toys in the den? And I asked you earlier to make a birthday card with your crayons for Jake, did you do that? Take that bag of dart tournament flights up to daddy's room, just leave it outside his door and shout in, "Outside world barging in."
"Mommy, why is..."
"I don't know! For heaven's sake, Priscilla, what do I look like, a scientist! Geesh! Go look it up on your interweb thing! Aagh!"
