World at Her Feet was my pick because of her adorable era-appropriate hairdo. Suit and overcoat are handmade, purchased from another doll collector. Purse is also handmade, earrings by IT, and hat by Mattel.

The thick winter coat of Alaska brown bears gradually bleaches to blond in the summer, when it is shed naturally revealing a dark brown undercoat. This molting bear was photographed at the edge of a sedge grass meadow with summer wildflowers. Silver Salmon Creek, Cook Inlet, AK, Pacific Northwest.
