A frosty and misty morn in November at the Italian Gardens in Trentham Gardens, taken around 9.15 am. The 4 large stone jardinières all have their winter overcoats on now, wrapped in thick plastic for protection. The borders have been planted with winter Pansies. The lake is partly iced over but the rowing club are out in force and the Saturday morning coaching session is under way.

At first it looked as if it would be photography in the street like any other. But it wasn't. The beggar agreed to be photographed and took the money on offer, but after a while - I was just looking through the viewfinder - she hit me on the wrist with her stick, just next to my camera! Something like this happened to me for the first time... and I hope for the last.

Highland Perthshire just a few days ago in its splendid grey overcoat of clouds while the mountain of the fairies called Schiehallion is shrouded in mist.
The water is Loch Tummel and is yet another location in Scotland that is fabulous to photo all year round as you never get it looking the same on any visit. The location the photo was shot from is called Queens View.

And the maple fairies danced in the depth of the night until they could dance no more. This maple is absolutely fabulous this year - I was in a lot of doubt posting in black and white as it was beautiful in green. But just sometimes you do a thing because a thing needs to be done and you don't know why it needs to be done. Probably post it in its green overcoat at some point.

The real Story behind the Peaky Blinders was a street gang based in Birmingham, England, that operated from the 1880s until the 1910s. The group, which grew out of the harsh economic deprivations of working-class Britain, comprised largely of young men from lower to middle-class backgrounds and they derived social power from robbery, violence, racketeering, illegal bookmaking, and the control of gambling. Members of this gang wore a signature outfit that included tailored jackets, lapel overcoats, button waistcoats, silk scarves, bell-bottom trousers, leather boots, and peaked flat caps, which they had a practice of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps!
