This was a hard shot to pull off and i think I may give it another go one day because it really requires a helper or someone with three hands.
I was trying to create some interesting patterns using my 50mm 1.8d as a means to mess with the light. Then I found that providing there was enough light I could project it through the lens onto a bit of paper. Image was flipped in post but interesting to see the image of outside projected onto paper, just incredibly difficult to focus it haha.
Sept. 29 was a perfect day for a road race - with comfortable temperatures and sunshine in the forecast.
The first book is an example of outside college work have done.
It shows one of my main interests of ‘current events” and “history”.
I took part in the 59th year memorial of the Holocaust. I went to Plymouth University and drew people for the day and photographing creating a very large final piece of the "people of today".
The second book really represents who i am and what i really like to do.
This page show’s some mixed media work i did using a range of strange and fun materials such as; sandpaper,nails,wax,moss,newspaper,different solutions made by keeping iron in vinegar for a few months creating a beautiful colour and texture.
These also have the loose thread which is a very signature thing I do if using mixed media and a sewing machine.
Finally the third book, shows mixed media work which i really enjoy doing which is image transfer, and i use it quite regularly,but also shows an outside project i did,involving people to write their secrets down anonymously which involved Plymouth College of art,primary schools,and the navel base.I then stitched them together and displayed them.

Kyrart Studio and Outside Projects, both on Main St. in the village, ran an Extreme Outdoor Adventure and Art camp from July 25-29. In this photo, the day campers displayed their finished boards, posing alongside some of their camp leaders.
For a few days it seemed like the cold weather was starting to break, but then we remember that we live in Buffalo and it's a little too early to be dreaming of spring. For two or three days, I had to really bundle up when I left the house because it was chilled-to-the-bone cold outside.

I am not a huge fan of Flash photography. Problem it that I have found that I need the flash to get what I need to. I have had a Speedlight, a 540ez, but that won't ttl on any digital cameras so the only way to use it is to set the flash manually. I finally got a flash that will TTL for me. This was my big gift today, so for the last hour or so I have been reading the manual and fooling around with the flash. This shot is a great example of this. I took a few dozen shots to get here but I decided I would bounce the flash, but had to bump up the flash compensation to account for things. I have a lot to learn with this thing and this is the very beginning.
Today was an ok day. For some reason something set off my Allergies all day. I was sneezing and blowing my nose all day, my eyes were itchy and I was just all around miserable feeling. I finally broke down and took a allergy med that makes you drowsy so it was a rough day.
Today I got the Speedlight, a Sun Sniper camera strap that I find to be more comfy for me, I got some close up macro filters, and some clothes. I also got a huge flashlight which will be cool to play with, it friggin uses a car headlight bulb so it may be useful for outside projects.
One of our first really warm days here in Washington. My kiddos and their grubby fingers were definately craving this popsicle surprise while playing outside.
