One day when I was wondering what to build I thought I'd make something to put my Hazard suit guys on. I started with working on the creature that is now breaking out. He's one of my favorite little guys so far. I had also recently acquired some of the 9-volt Lego parts so I wanted to include them here as well. I think this took me about a week to build.

a school of intergalactic Garglefish have found an outbreak of Interstial Kelp, one of their favourite foods. As they devour the kelp, they generate quantum foam, seen drifting away towards the corners of this image. It can sometimes leak through the interstices of reality and cause real havoc in an unsuspecting alternate reality.
This model, in her costume of fantasy, kindly posed for passersby on the Ponte della Paglia. The Ponte de i Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs) is in the background. This image was made just after the Carnevale celebration was closed down. Venetians complied with the ban for the most part. but some brave souls went about in their grand costumes to the delight of those of us who came there to enjoy the event.
This album is posted on 19 Mar 2020 as an antidote to all the bad news about Covid-19 in Italy, and Venice in particular. The photographs were made at what should have been a high point of Carneval. Unfortunately, the day before Shrove Tuesday, Italy shut down Carnival celebrations, including in Venice.
For my family's part, we arrived as the full force of the outbreak was just beginning to strike Italy. It was our good fortune to be able see and enjoy our planned itinerary with only one or two cancellations, and to arrive back home in good health.
All best wishes for good health go to the Italian people as they deal with the virus.

While I can't recall if the military was ever directly involved in the old Resident Evil games or the movies, i thought it would be neat to add and help to create a new narrative for you to explore with your RPs on the sim!

Charles Gesner van der Voort (1916-1991) and Dorone van den Brandeler shared a 'mess' in Shanghai, while working there for Dutch companies Holland-China Trading Company and Java-China-Japan Line. Dorone arrived in 1935, Charles in 1939. After the outbreak of WWII in The Netherlands, many young men abroad were called to arms. Charles had a brother serving in the army and was exempted, Dorone van den Brandeler went to England to join Princess Irene Brigade. In January 1942, he was sent to the Netherlands East Indies, with Insulinde Corps, together with his childhood friend Lou Bierens de Haan. Upon arrival in February 1942, the Netherlands East Indies were captured by the Japanese and the troops remained in Ceylon, current Sri Lanka. After training in Ceylon and British India, they were sent to Australia, where they served with NEFIS III, Netherlands East Indies Forces Intelligence Service. Under command of Dorone van den Brandeler, one of the missions was to the Digul river area in Dutch New Guinea, to investigate Japanese presence in the area. They were helped by local Dutch representatives and Papua population.
Dorone van den Brandeler's widow told me stories of this period in her husband's life. She mentioned photos made by her husband's friend Lou Bierens de Haan. It triggered a search for relatives and I found Lou Bierens de Haan's daughters, who provided me with a description of this period by their father, in a letter to his parents at the end of the war. He had donated his photo album to Cavalry Museum in Amersfoort, who kindly provided me access to these unique images, which I could use for my book, "Charles in Shanghai".
It was a wonderful experience to meet with Lou Bierens de Haan's daughters and other relatives at Cavalry Museum to review their father's album, when they were in the Netherlands for a family reunion.
Dr. Jack Ford, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of Queensland, wrote a book about Australian-Dutch cooperation during WWII, "Allies in a Bind, Australia and the Netherlands East Indies in the Second World War" (Loganholme: Netherlands Ex-Servicemen and Women’s Association, Queensland branch, 1996). For the book, he corresponded with many NEFIS veterans, several of whom are in this photo.

Marton VAMBAC tram No10 passing Sparrow's Park as it climbs Church Street, heading towards central Blackpool and Talbot Square were it will terminate.
Built in 1939 as part of Walter Luff’s modernisation plan for Blackpool’s trams, the Marton VAMBACs were a small class of Blackpool trams that had started life as part open-top cars for use along the promenade. Numbered 10 to 21, they were originally named ‘Sun Saloons’, and were fitted with roll-up tarpaulin roofs, half-height saloon windows and featured wooden slatted seating.
With the outbreak of WW2 in September 1939, the Sun Saloons never got to fulfil their role as promenade cars. Instead, the war found them requisitioned to ferry troops from their barracks at Squires Gate to the Rifle Ranges that had been set up at Rossall. The soldiers christened the Sun Saloons 'Cattle trucks' due to the cars being uncomfortable and draughty. To improve the situation, the Sun Saloons were refurbished and fitted with proper roofs, full-sized drop-down windows and eventually, cushioned seating.
Following the end of the war, the Sun Saloons were transferred for use on the Marton route to replace the aging 'Standard' double-deck cars that worked it. The Marton route ran from Talbot Square to Blackpool’s South Pier, via Marton on the eastern side of the town.
In 1948, the tram track on the Marton route was re-laid, and the Sun Saloons refurbished. This included the installation of fluorescent lighting, then a very modern concept. They were also fitted with the then revolutionary ‘Variable Automatic Multi-notch Braking and Control’ electrical equipment, better known as VAMBAC. The VAMBAC control system allowed for smoother acceleration and braking, improving the ride. By 1952, the Sun Saloons and had become the mainstay of the Marton route and eventually became known as the Marton VAMBACs. All were housed and operated out of Marton Depot on Whitegate Drive.
The first VAMBAC was withdrawn in 1960, when car 10 was involved in an accident and scrapped as a consequence. The second VAMBAC withdrawn was car 21 in 1961, being used as a source of spare parts, while car 14 became a driver training car. By 1961, the Town Council had already decided to abandon its inland tram services, the first to go being the Lytham Road – Squires Gate route in 1961. The Marton Route was next for the chop, and was closed in October 1962. VAMBACs 11, 13, 15, 17 and 18 operated on the last day, and at the end of service all the VAMBACs were parked up at Marton Depot awaiting scrapping.
Only one VAMBAC car survives today, that being car 11, which was requested by enthusiasts for a tour of the remaining tramway in 1963, VAMBAC 11 was extracted from Marton Depot and transferred to Rigby Road for preparation. Following the tour, the Corporation was approached by enthusiasts wanting to preserve the tram for posterity. Today, VAMBAC No11 can be found at the East Anglia Transport Museum, where it still finds regular use.

The Ridgeway is a permissive path owned by Thames Water in southeast London. It is built on an embankment that covers the Southern Outfall Sewer, designed by Joseph Bazalgette after an outbreak of cholera in 1853 and the "Great Stink" of 1858.
In total the pathway is 3.5 miles in length and runs between Plumstead railway station in the Royal Borough of Greenwich where this photograph was taken to Crossness Pumping Station in the London Borough of Bexley.
There has been alot of work done recently along the Ridgeway to make it more accessible for the public alongside all the ongoing engineering work for Crossrail where the tunnel runs underneath the western part of the Ridgeway.
While stormchasing around tornado alley, this twister was spotted as it formed on the northeast side of Salina. It was one of over a hundred tornadoes reported in the midwest on April 14, 2012.

More than 300 of the racetrack's 500+ employees live in dormitory-style buildings seen in the foreground of this photograph. More than 300 workers have tested positive for COVID-19 and one horse trainer died in December, 2020, making this the site of the worst COVID-19 outbreak to date in the city of Berkeley.
Poetically, the parking lot of the racetrack and clubhouse building, seen in the upper left of the photo, is now a high-volume vaccination site capable of vaccinating 1,000 people per day, six day a week.

Forces of the UN army are fighting against the infected in the empty streets during the zombie outbreak.
‘’The Outbreak’’ sometimes dubbed as ‘’The Apocalypse’’ or ‘’World War Z’’ is an global outbreak of Specimen Z, an experimental virus that spread around the globe. It spread globally in around 28 hours, and caused the collapse of several nations within those hours. Resulting into mass panic and global destruction.
UN forces are fighting against the infected during an massive global zombie outbreak. Consisting of several armies from around the globe united together in accordance to an secretive UN protocol.The cooperated with the total defense against the increase of infected, which resulted into a global conflict against the infected. The UN army is considered to be the largest and most powerful faction seen in the Outbreak series so far.
(Dubbed as the UN Army in the Outbreak videos) They are a faction that has yet to appear in future content, despite that. The UN army already made several appearance in my brickfilms. The most notable were the Zombie Outbreak videos.
Their main job during the Outbreak was to evacuate the civilians out of the infected ''Hot Zone'' areas by combating the infected with various weapons in order to buy time. They were also tasked with maintaining order in and outside the Quarantine Zones as mass panic was still in progress.
This was part of a entire scene that was deleted from the video. The reason why that is was because of the general length of the video. A similar scene might appear in a future instalment of the Outbreak series, along with a couple of other tanks.

From a recently processed roll of 35mm film shot in 1996. The faux village in the middle of the frame was used as the African village in 1995's movie, Outbreak with Dustin Hoffman. Don't know if it is still there; haven't made the hop to Kauai in years!
Harlech Castle, Gwynedd, Wales, is a medieval fortification, constructed atop a spur of rock close to the Irish Sea. It was built by Edward I during his invasion of Wales between 1282 and 1289 at the substantial cost of £8,190. Over the next few centuries, the castle played an important part in several wars, withstanding the siege of Madog ap Llywelyn between 1294–95, but falling to Owain Glyndŵr in 1404. It then became Glyndŵr's residence and military headquarters for the remainder of the uprising until being recaptured by English forces in 1409.
During the 15th century Wars of the Roses, Harlech was held by the Lancastrians for seven years, before Yorkist troops forced its surrender in 1468, a siege memorialised in the song Men of Harlech. Following the outbreak of the English Civil War in 1642, the castle was held by forces loyal to Charles I, holding out until 1647 when it became the last fortification to surrender to the Parliamentary armies. In the 21st century the ruined castle is managed by Cadw, the Welsh Government's historic environment service, as a tourist attraction.
UNESCO considers Harlech to be one of "the finest examples of late 13th century and early 14th century military architecture in Europe", and it is classed as a World Heritage site.

There's a lot of room here for possibilities and it's all really exciting. I can't wait to explore some of the options and see what can be done to better your time on the sim!
I also wanted to thank Ashleey Andrew for a humbling show of support and patience. That was a less than stellar start to my TP system but it wound up working with only a handful of profanities being thrown around and a total overhaul to the script! Passengers are being shuttled back to their ship after visiting Santa Bárbara. Dozens of passengers and crew were not allowed to leave the ship or even their cabin, because of a Norovirus outbreak. This is the fourth norovirus outbreak on that particular ship in four years!
Let’s hope that the sea lions on the nearby buoy did not catch the virus...;-)

In design prior to the outbreak of World War II, the Series Y 10 cwt van was the replacement for the Series 2 version. Production commenced in 1940, with van and truck variants. Post-war production was limited to the van variant. A bespoke Ambulance version of the Series Y was also produced during the war. This was a physically larger vehicle which used a 14hp engine and featured larger wheels and tyres. It had a lengthened chassis and a 10 inch longer wheel base than the “standard” 12hp versions.
