Longwood Gardens Orchid Epidendrum porpax is native to Colombia and Venezuela, growing in pine forests, usually on the sides of the trees in dense clumps or mats with 3-inch long stems covered in alternating, thick oblong leaves that are olive green but will have purple/red coloration when grown in higher light.
