In every photo i took of my dog theres some orb like presences! I'm sure they're just reflections; but the fact they're absent when my dog is was kinda wierd. Close up of the fence orb.
I could not resist a quick test of my new orb spinning tool. I had fun turning the dominant light from white to red, by adjusting the power settings on the torches. It's all so easy and the spinner works very well.
This is hanging itself out to dry, having recently shed its skin.
It's a young one. Body less than 1cm.
Found this Orb Weaver web that had an unusual stabilimentum. It was circular instead of the usual cross stitch pattern. Had an image with the spider in it, but the spider was out of focus.
This is the same spider as the preceding picture but this has the major advantage of being in focus courtesy of my brave wife shining a flashlight on it so I could get better focus than the first shot.
I saw this in a shop downtown. I've been meaning to go back and buy it. I think I could put it to good use as a prop in photos...
There are several sphercial orbs around Wiggles, an occurance around some dogs and some people some times in this room. These are of the "classical" paranormal orbs that can be found in Internet searches. I do not know what these are, yet do think in they are associated with "healing."
My first attempt at making an orb. Pretty please at how this turned out and amazed at how a dual LED head lamp can make such cool light.

Spiders creep me out but I find them fascinating at the same time. This one was hanging below the deck.
A golden orb spider wraps a web around a cabbage moth to preserve it and supply protein for its young. Taken by Sandra Hughes in her garden in Hillarys.
We have a ghost who is the "protector of the home and those within it". Our house was built in 1847 by Clinton Phinney, who moved to Chester Twp from New York. Clinton's eldest brother was Obadiah. My guess is that his big brother probably came from NY to help Clinton construct the house, and has a protective sense over it. There is nothing reflective behind the orb. A different camera shot the entrance-way from another angle, and the orb was just as present as in my photo.
