On Friday 8 people from the Rancho Mirage Braille Institute went to the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. We attended the Shared Visions Art Exhibit. All art was done by the visually impared. Afterward we went to the Orange County Braille Institute for a meeting.

On behalf of the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Army Col. Yolonda "YR" Summons, SHAPE Healthcare Facility commander, presents a check to the optometry clinic staff, including Army Maj. Louie Le, Army Spc. Derek Patterson, and Anita Gallegos, Aug. 17, 2018, on SHAPE, Belgium. LRMC awarded the clinic with $10,000 for excellent patient service.
