Tennessee, USA - 15 members of the Memphis Southern College of Optometry Lions Club joined 12 members of the Germantown Lions Club to plant 450 Redbud trees in a local park. It only took them 1 ½ hours to plant all the trees.

Dr. Keshia Elder, Dean of the College of Optometry, speaks with future optometrists after the white coat ceremony. The University of Missouri-St. Louis college of Optometry held their 24th Annual White Coat Ceremony on Friday, May 19, 2023. Forty-three students who have completed the first two years of the professional curriculum earned the right to begin their clinical education and receive the white coats. The students will be part of the graduating class of 2025.
