Day #15/365: Spent some time with my longtime friend Kim and her mom, Jan. Jan got a scary diagnosis a couple of months ago and is on an unexpected and uncertain journey; but her optimism and faith are humbling to witness. It was the highlight of my day.

I am so happy to be alive.

The bike was in worse shape than earlier thought. Problem was more than a battery issue….we have an electrical problem. Thankfully, we also have a rider with us who knows bikes inside and out and decided to try hotwiring things with a modified electrical wiring harness.

Prairie crocus will soon be emerging from the grasslands.

Early morning optimism (APE-timism?)! Will this cash box soon be filled with small bills? Time will tell!

This is day one of my attempt for 365. Wish me luck!!

I think this is going to be an amazing year. We are getting married and I really can't wait. I think it is going to be awesome!
