I was made an honorary ops person for a day, all because of my killer combat boots. The ops boys gave me a pager to wear all day and loaned me a knife to pose for the photo. Awww yeah. I was a lean mean ops machine :)

2nd Cavalry Regiment celebrated the 70th Anniversary of Operation Cowboy, the rescue of the famed Lipizzaner horses from the German Army, April 30, 2015. Journalists from various news organizations in Senegal and Guinea Bissau visited U.S. Africa Command, Stuttgart, Germany, Dec. 11-14, 2017. On top of an "Otter". 440 Transport Squadron aircrew sit proudly on top of their hard working Canadian Forces CC-138 "Twin Otter" aircraft. The "Twin Otter" aircraft spent many hours in the air supporting and resupplying four Canadian Ranger patrol groups that traversed the west and east coast of Ellesmere Island, Nunavut, during Operation NUNALIVUT 2009. Close coordination and teamwork from approximately one hundred personnel based in Eureka, Nunavut helped Canadian Ranger patrols achieve their objectives during the operation.
